The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
S3 Your eyes

Reynand POVs

I looked towards the main door. Stopped looking at the figure of the beautiful woman I loved before. Standing with Baruna very affectionately. His hands were interlocked like he did not want to be separated at all. Sheryl and Baruna. A newlywed couple who just got home from their honeymoon.

Envied. Only one word in my heart. But I immediately removed that feeling. They are a couple that I created myself. Provide space to love each other above all the mixed feelings that can be excruciating. I love both of them.

In front of them, Father and Aunt Meri then walked up to me first who was walking out of the kitchen of the house of Asyraf for insisting on helping the housekeepers prepare a small party to welcome the newlyweds.

"Hey, Rey! Been long?" greet Dad while standing in front of me.

"Yes, Dad." I nodded a little stuttered. The tray I was carrying almost fell down in shock at Dad's greeting.

Dad pulled his face, his forehead instantly shriveled to see me do what the housekeepers were supposed to do at his residence.

"Why are you carrying a tray of plates?" tanyanya does not like. Then he called out to Mr. Edi, the butler of the house of Ashraf. "Sir, please take this tray to the event venue. Reynand is my son, why let him do something like this?"

"Ba-good, Sir! Forgive me!" Mr. Edi seemed to bow his head many times, apologizing.

I handed the tray with the plates to him. Still standing there staring at Father who suddenly smiled warmly.

"Rey, I want to tell you something. You should listen to it." Without hearing my answer first, it suddenly pulled me, then carried me to the back of the house.

"Rey!"

Baruna's voice was heard calling out to me, but it was completely ignored by this very stubborn Father. Forced, I followed his steps to where he wanted to go. Though .. yes you know for yourself how I still want to linger looking at the face of Sheryl who is standing there.

Haish! This thought is not helpful at all. Forget, Rey! Forget that!

We were in the garden behind the residence of Ashraf. A magnificent maroon-colored tent was standing there. Various buffet food menus have also been lined up there.

My mother .... He seemed busy arranging everything perfectly there. His two hands ruffled around his waist raved to the several housekeepers standing there. Mama's rant sounds like an endless train road. Mrs Perfect acted without being asked.

Dad took me to sit at one of the long tables. He put his arm on the table. His eyes look into my eyes. While I only raised the next eyebrow as the initial reaction of his conversation partner.

"Rey, do you know the Berlin Corporation?"

Both of my eyebrows suddenly swooped almost to meet hearing Dad mention the name of a leech company.

"What's wrong with that company?" my many.

"They planned to buy thirty percent of Ashraf's shares at a high price. I hear, their company lunge good to cover various fields of business. One of them is the hospital business. You know Berlin Hospital? It belongs to them too. So, it's not appropriate if we keep calling it a leech company."

"Oh ...."

I only responded with one word that might not sound too interested. Since three days ago, I completely let go of the Asyraf Corporation. Mama's been raving shit because I'm numbering Dad's company compared to Pradipta Corporation. That's not what I meant. I just want to help to the maximum. That'sthat's all.

My gaze turned back to my half-brother's wife. He suddenly came to the maroon tent where the party with Aunt Meri. Help him make preparations. I knew his face looked very tired. Where is Baruna? Why didn't he stop her from doing that? So outrageous.

"Rey!" My voice sounded to me. My eyes flashed in a direction towards him.

"W-what's up, Dad?" tanyaku.

"You just react with the word 'oh' like that. Do you not care about Dad's company anymore?" Dad looks moody.

"Why are you still worried about something like that? You have every right to run Asyraf Corp, Rey." I look insistent. Unfortunately, I'm not interested at all.

"Sorry, Dad. The work at Pradipta alone made me troubled. Baruna better control it."

Hearing my explanation, Dad fell silent. I let out a long sigh, then looked for an excuse to get up from before him.

"I'll take the toilet first, Dad," I said.

Dad nodded. Let me get out of that place. Without wasting time I stepped away.

Bukk!

My shoulders pounded something and almost dazed. But because the body is strong enough, it can even withstand the figure of a woman who almost fell because of hitting my body. Sheryl almost fell backwards if I didn't catch her right away. Our eyes met for a moment.

"Ah, sorry!" I said as I straightened Sheryl's body and took off the hand that was holding her back. We both became angry because of it.

"Thank you" said the woman so flatly.

This tremor of heart still feels great when he is close to me and I continue to deny for the most part if still fascinated by him. My eyes just stumbled and left.

You're so stupid, Rey. Isn't your relationship okay?

The heart keeps blaming, but who cares? I don't want to be considered a player in my stepbrother's own household.

I was not long out of the toilet. Baruna was waiting for me at the door. His hands were folded with a face that looked so serious.

"Well, Bar? What's up?" many confused. What is he doing in front of the toilet?

Baruna looked at me. Suddenly she gave a warm smile of hers.

"Haish! Why are you so arrogant, anyway?" Without hesitation, he approached and hugged me tightly.

"Ba-Bar ..," I said stammering. His actions were shocking.

Baruna broke her embrace. Warmly look at my face. "So I called and I was so happy. Even go so with Dad. What are you guys talking about? So serious. Don't talk about candidates for you, Rey?" tease my sister.

"Candidate?" I cringe.

"hu-um. Must be talking to your future wife, right? Why, me!"

Baruna was grieving in front of me. Melt very happily. Yeah, it's only natural. Who would not be happy to marry a partner he loves so much?

"Nothing. Dad just told me about the Berlin Corporation who wanted to buy Asyraf's shares" I replied.
