Reynand Pov's
"You're supporting me, aren't you?"
"Yes, Brother. That's very chatty, anyway!"
"No. I just wanted to make sure. You're either my support or Mama's." I put my lips together and sat down at my desk with my phone still attached to my ears.
"No, Brother Rey. I support you one hundred percent. You should marry whatever happens!"
I exhaled a heavy breath. Remembering how Sheryl warned me that our relationship would end if we didn't get my blessing.
"But sheryl didn't say that. Our relationship will end if Mama doesn't give her blessing. He turned pessimistic even though he said he loved me."
"Haish! Are not your positions the same? Besides, what has Rey done to get her Papa's heart?!" Indira's voice turned angry.
"Great Om was still acting cold when I came to his house. It seems he really hates me" I said bowed.
"You are really ...." Indira hung up her sentence, silent for a while, "why not ask for the support of Rey's father. All this will happen not to be separated from his interference."
"Let's see, I just don't want to involve Dad ...." I went back to breathing heavily, then switched our conversation, "later after work come to the office, pick up Sheryl and take her for a walk. I can't bear to see his face always tense when dealing with Mama."
"Why didn't Rey take him away?"
"Today can't, Dir. This afternoon, I will meet with a client. Can't predict what time it'll be over."
"Okay. It just so happens that I'm on my way to Pradipta's office."
"Not now. It's still working hours, Dira."
"Not to worry. Not only me and Sheryl are leaving, but we're going with Mama. So, Rey, just calm down."
Tut!
"Dira!" I almost screamed, but Indira went out of her way.
Haish! What the fuck! Not that it calms me down, it makes me more anxious.

Sheryl Pov's
The elevator doors open. I hurried out, stepping in haste. Aunt Aina must not have gone far. I have to go after him.
"The sher! Sheryl!"
My steps came to a halt when I heard someone shouting. Turned. Irene smiled as she walked towards me.
"What's up, Ren?"
"Where are you going, Sher? Very rushed."
"Gue's going after my boss. Hape is missing."
"Cie chases the camer," Irene teased with her pretty loud voice.
I bought it, looking around. Some people seemed to be looking at us. Immediately, I placed my index finger on Irene's lips that couldn't keep my relationship and Reynand a secret.
"Damn! Don't yell, Ren!"
Irene straightened her lips. This woman in front of me knows our relationship. Nah! I didn't tell him anything. Yes, at least before the most embarrassing event happened that day, the first day I went to work. Unintentionally, Irene caught us in the elevator alone. Maybe it's the usual thing if we just stand busy with each other's thoughts. Unfortunately at that time Reynand was caught peeling my forehead in the elevator that suddenly opened.
"O-o. so-sorry, Sher," said Irene who immediately scattered my head.
"Ck! By the way, I'm plastering your mouth!"
Irene did not answer. A second later, the woman chuckled very loudly as if my words were ridiculous. My mouth is pursed in annoyance. Without paying attention to it again rushed away.
I'm glaring. Aunt Aina was seen there. Standing on the lobby terrace. I don't know who he's waiting for. I quickened my pace, approaching him.
When we were half a meter away, suddenly a black sedan stopped right in front of the lobby terrace. Car door open. Indira got off the steering door.
"Sheryl."
Indira said my name out loud and the arms were waving. Aunty Aina looked back. I was a little surprised to find me there.
"What else is it?" ask without saying my name. That's how he doesn't think of me.
"Sorry, Mom. The phone was left behind" I said, giving her the phone.
"No. Mr. Rey answered it. He came into the room looking for you."
"Yes, okay. Thank you," she said, putting her phone in her bag, then turning to Indira, "let's go, Dir!"
Indira did not answer her mother directly. He turned his gaze to me, "Wait, Ma."
The old forehead shriveled. "What else?"
"Sheryl can come, right?"
Suddenly my eyes were surprised to hear Indira's words. Aunt Aina immediately glanced at me.
"He's still in the office hours, Dira. Can't leave the desk."
Indira who seemed to not care about Aunt Aina's answer suddenly grabbed my arm. He put on a smile and immediately seduced very sweetly, "Oh come on, Mam. Mom is the boss. Nothing is impossible for a boss. Besides, our departure still has something to do with Rey."
Aunt Aina looked back. He was silent for a while before finally responding with a cold attitude, "Terusuh you!"
I was surprised to hear that answer. With a quick step Reynand's birth mother opened the back door and got into Indira's sedan car.
Indira was still smiling at me. "Come, Sher!"
"Where are we going, Dir?" many confused.
I haven't answered, my phone rang. I grabbed my phone, got Reynand's name on the screen. Without warning, Indira took it.
"You don't have time to answer that phone. Mama will be angry if you wait too long," he said suddenly turned to Aunt Aina who had been sitting in the car.
Having no other choice, I was forced to nod. Indira rushed to open the steering door. I followed, opening the other side door.
"Sit in the back, Sher!" sergeant Indira suddenly.
"Ta-but-" I was about to refute, but Indira quickly cut in.
"The company of my mother sits in the back."
The deg!
What the fuck! Why behave like this?
Yep. In the end I did. Sitting next to Aunt Aina who was keeping her distance from me. No words were spoken from his mouth. He remained seated quietly without even once being tempted to speak throughout our journey. Meanwhile, Indira who was driving the car looked indifferent. It was like he was giving us time to get close to each other.
The kling!
A message came into my phone.
Reynand: [Why didn't you come back? Did you decide to go with Dira and Mama?]
How did Reynand know? Ah, maybe Dira told him, my inner self.
Me: [What is your plan?]
Reynand: [Not at all. Dira's attitude was enough to make me anxious.]
Me: [I hope your Mama's mood is good today, Rey. I was a little afraid he would eat me with his words.]
Reynand: [You're overreacting, honey. Think of her as your mother.]
Reading Reynand's last chat message struck me. Like heaven and earth. How could she be Reynand's biological mother who had a sweet and revealing smile, while her mother always put a sour face on me?
"It turns out your relationship is pretty strong. You guys haven't given up yet."
The slight sound made me look to the side. Our eyeballs met each other, right at the sharpened sight of his eyes.
"We won't break up that easily" I said.
"Although without my blessing?" Aunt Aina raised her next to her eyebrows.
"Maybe to you, I'll just keep playing Reynand's heart. It's okay if you still judge like that. But for sure, we've agreed not to marry without your blessing."
"Don't waste your time on the impossible, Sheryl. Rey won't be happy with you." Aunt Aina warned me again.
"Everything has to be fought, right? As long as we continue together, it will always be a strength for our ever-growing love." I chimed in on Aunt Aina along with the sound of her heartbeat becoming more and more. Courage suddenly appeared.
"Ma, enough! I'm tired of hearing your talk. Please soften your heart. Give them a chance." Indira suddenly interrupted our conversation.
