Sheryl Pov's
At 17:00
I was still in the hospital bed when the ringing of the cell phone kept bothering me. Lazily immediately grabbed and just looked at him uninspired.
"Who's on the phone? A baruna?"
Mama who was sitting on the sofa not far from me asked with a scattering look. I took a deep breath, then nodded.
Baruna did call many times, but I didn't want to talk to her.
"Lift, Son! You've been ignoring her calls for too long" Mama said. As if knowing my anger, she got up from her seat, "Mama will leave you alone so that you can freely talk to her."
I did not reply, my eyeballs rolled moving in the footsteps of Mama who was moving out of the room. Not long after, my mother disappeared from sight. I looked back at the screen of the phone showing Baruna's face. He was so unyielding that he kept calling, even though I had ignored him since morning.
"Hello." I finally answered the call half-heartedly.
"Finally you picked it up too, dear." How are you and our son?" ask Baruna on the other end of the phone.
"you reckon? Don't you realize that you're nearly jeopardizing the safety of our future son."
"Sorry," he said.
I grimaced at his apology. "What else do you want to say to make us wretched?"
Baruna did not answer. I heard ****** a deep breath from him, then he said in a soft voice, "Honey, I'm sorry. It all just happened and I haven't known about it for long either."
I snorted and then grinned, "Not so long ago, huh? That means you intend to hide that fact from me. Not to mention Felicia. I think from the beginning you two were deliberately lying to me." I satirize with quite a punch.
"Please don't misunderstand me"
"With what I saw in the hospital lobby back then and the fact that Rafa is your son, how could I not misunderstand you?" I cut his words.
"I don't want anything bad to happen in our marriage." Baruna defended herself. Carrying the word marriage should be based on honesty.
"I'm your wife. Don't you think of me like that?" Unknowingly, I shed tears again, "to what extent is your relationship? Why do I have to face this kind of problem when we're married?"
"Sher, I beg you to understand my position. I'll tell you everything later at home."
"If I asked you to come right now, would you be able to fulfill it, Bar?"
Baruna did not answer. I'm pretty sure he won't be able to do that. His promise to Mama who will return home soon to Indonesia can not be fulfilled.
"It can't be, can it? You prefer them." I snorted and smiled bitterly.
"Sorry ...."
Tut!
I immediately turned off the call. As expected, what he just wanted to make Mama feel calm by saying that. In fact, Baruna is still in Tokyo. There was no word that he would come home to me now.
The kling!
A chat message came in from Baruna.
[Sorry. I can't go home now. The doctor will take action on me and Rafael. Maybe later tonight only Mother will return to Jakarta.]
Cry broke. I'm trying to understand him. But there is no reason to make me understand his choice.
It was hard to hear Baruna's words. I could only inhale the air deeply, then throw it away quickly. Here I need Baruna, but she chose to be there instead. With Rafael and Felicia.
The heat inside my heart crept up to my head. I pulled the blanket. In tears imagining my marriage that might be ruined because of the mother and child couple, while I could not do anything because I could only lie on this bed.
The kling!
I opened the blanket, trying to reach the phone on the nightstand. Chat message from Reynand.
[I'm on my way to the hospital. Do you want to drop something, let me bring it?]
Rey ... why is she always present at times like this?
[Can you bring me some ice cream?]

Reynand Pov's
I was at a supermarket not far from the hospital where Sheryl was being treated. After visiting her this morning, I decided to go back to see her situation this afternoon.
While walking between the shelves, I grabbed my phone and typed in a chat message for Sheryl.
[I'm on my way to the hospital. Do you want to drop something, let me bring it?]
Not waiting for long, a reply from him arrived.
The kling!
[Can you bring me ice cream?]
Ice cream?
I cringed reading that chat message. He was not as usual and without hesitation asked for something from me. Immediately, I tried to call him to ask further, but unfortunately he did not pick him up at all.
"What's wrong with her?" my murmurs then without hesitation immediately moved towards the center of the ice cream being located.

Carrying a bag full of ice cream, I stood in front of Sheryl's nursery. Inwardly a little anxious would meet Baruna in there, but I forced myself to knock on the door. After all, he should have been embarrassed to come over for hurting his wife.
Chequek!
That door is open. Not Aunt Rini or Om the Great who opened it, but Reza. It seems he hasn't come home yet. Reza's still wearing his work shirt. He looked at me with a frown.
"Well, Rey? What are you doing here?" the question then turned to look at the plastk bag I was carrying.
"City ...."
I had not been able to continue my words, when suddenly Sheryl's voice was heard calling her brother.
"Sir ...."
Reza looked back. "Yes, Deck?"
"Who's coming?" ask Sheyl again.
"Reynand," replied Reza then turned his attention back to me, "get in!"
I pulled a line of smiles. Reza seemed to be without speciation, turning his body inching in. I followed him from behind. Sheryl's older brother said nothing more and just sat down on the sofa.
Sheryl is seen sitting while leaning against the pillow behind her. His eyes looked uninspired, but he still showed me a smile.
"How are you doing now?" my many.
"It's better and I hope to be home tomorrow."
"Thank God. But don't force it too much, yeah," I said and shoved the plastic bag I've been carrying.
"What's this?" ask Sheryl while she grabs it.
"Es cream for you. You said you wanted ice cream, didn't you?"
Sheryl looked in it. His eyes looked wide. The woman then raised her face looking surprised.
"You're crazy, yeah! How can I use this much ice cream?!"
I just smile and shrug my shoulders. Confused about buying what ice cream, I almost bought all kinds of ice cream there. Only for him.
