The Marriage Order
S3 We Go Together

Sheryl Pov's

My eyes boughtak read the chat message. A chat message that made me instantly anxious more than usual. My fear of loss came back to haunt me right then and there.

Livia Joanna? Who her? Does Rey know him?

Reynand grabbed her phone. Exhaling heavily read that chat message. But I didn't see him typing anything in return for his birth mother. In a split second he put the phone back on the table.

"Who is Livia Joana?" I asked with a frown.

"Delivery...." Reynand said briefly.

"What habits?" I'm wondering more and more. Reynand's answer left me dissatisfied.

"It's like you don't know my mom. Several times he did something like this after you left a year ago." Reynand answered coldly. Looks lazy to discuss it further.

That answer immediately made me understand. I'm not surprised anymore. Just like what Aunt Aina said when we last met, she was really serious about carrying out her intentions, looking for a woman to be Reynand's companion.

"From the women you've been introduced to, isn't there anything you like?" I asked doubtfully. It was the dumbest question that just slid in.

Reynand didn't answer right away. He even smirked a little. "Ehm, there's a hell...."

Hearing her answer, I immediately charged Reynand with one important question. Well, at least one question is important to me.

"Then did you get to date your mother's chosen woman?"

Reynand rolled her eyeballs around the room as if stalling for time. It made me impatient to know what had happened the past year with Reynand.

"Yes, if you don't want to tell me!" I'm pissed off.

"Why? You jealous?" The man asked in a flat tone.

"No!" I shook my head quickly. However, the annoyed expression on my face could not be hidden. I'm so jealous if that's the truth.

"Oh, yeah." The man shrugged his shoulders indifferently,

Haish! Really am! Was he intentionally a riddle like this? It just makes me think negatively!

I cursed in my heart. Accidentally seeing her faintly smiling face.

Even though her personal relationship with another woman was none of my business at the time, I was really curious to know. And so, I went back to asking, "So you're actually dating one of your mother's chosen women?"

"Haish! You're this really...." Reynand hung her words with an anxious face. He stuck his hands together on both sides of my jaw until my lips swung, "does I look like that to you, huh?"

I swallowed spit. My gaze deepened at him. He seemed sincere and did not lie, but I always found an alibi to break his words.

"Yes, it could be, right? One year when I disappeared, you were in a relationship with another woman."

Reynand lowered her hand. He took a long breath. "I can't be dating anyone else, while my whole head is your figure" she said.

"Rey...." I said shrewdly. Feeling a little sorry for having lured him in with a sentence that upset him.

Reynand raised next to his eyebrows. "Do we have to do it that way, and then you understand who the woman I've been wanting for so long?"

"Me-do what?" My eyes were surprised to see him. Negative thoughts just pass.

"How about I just impregnate you, hm?" sahut Reynand was so calm as if the problem of pregnant impregnation was not a serious thing.

As I rebuffed his words, "Save that crazy idea of yours! We agreed we wouldn't do it before we got our blessing."

Still with the water flat, Reynand recalls, "Why? Wouldn't it be great if you were pregnant with my son now? I will gladly be responsible for marrying you. Besides, your father and my mother won't be able to get in the way of our wishes because you're pregnant with their grandchildren."

"Haish! I don't want to. That's a very bad idea!"

"It's so hard to be a good and right person" Reynand murmured suddenly.

Although faint, I could hear the murmur. I feel the same way. However, no! I think the weight is heavier than me being a woman.

I patted her shoulder slowly. "Already! It's already! Why are you being such an impatient guy, anyway? Aren't we just starting this relationship and want to face the difficulties together?"

Slowly Reynand turned to me. His face looked uninspired, but he was able to put his smile on there. "Yes, you're right, Sher. Forgive me for saying that. Really am! When you doubt my feelings, I don't know what else to do. Thank you for being by my side."

I nodded slowly. "So, how? Are you coming to that hotel to meet a woman named Livia Joana?"

"No. I don't want to. I'm not coming to see that woman." Reynand hurriedly shook her head, "if I come, it's the same as if I obey Mama's orders."

"Come by. Your mother will be even more against our relationship if you don't listen to her orders" I said, trying to calm down. Though in the heart it does not feel willing if Reynand meets other women who certainly have a beautiful face. Fortunately, I have a plan.

Reynand's forehead suddenly shriveled at my words. "What are you planning, Sher? You didn't change your mind to give up and end our relationship, did you?"

"Who said I'd end this relationship?" I pulled a line of meaningful smiles.

"Then?" Reynand's eyes widened in confusion.

"I didn't tell you to meet alone. I'll go meet that woman."

Reynand immediately smirked slightly, looking even more excited. A second later, his finger raised to form an okay signal.

I can't deny it, my heart keeps pounding tonight. How not? Right tonight Reynand came to pick me up to go see a woman named Livia Joana. I have to prepare myself for my plan.

Despite knowing we were still in contact, Papa didn't prevent us from leaving. But unfortunately he also did not say any words at all. Not even to get out of the room. Papa is showing his protest. Maybe for Papa his ultimatum yesterday was firm enough. He was sure we wouldn't get married without his blessing.

"Don't come home too late, Rey. Later Papa Sheryl will be even more upset with you" Mama said as she drove us to the car.

"Yes, Aunt. I know the limits." Reynand smiled at her small smile.

"I'm not a child anymore, Ma" I protested. I think Mama's message was overdone to a grown man in front of her.

Mama just glanced at me without saying my protest. He then turned his gaze again to Reynand. "Tante knows you can be trusted. Then don't break that trust, yeah."

"Yes, Auntie." Reynand nodded, then got into the car. Before long, Reynand's car drove out of my yard.

In the middle of the journey, Reynand momentarily glanced at me. "You didn't tell your mother that we were going to meet that woman, did you?"

"Haish! Of course not. Do I look like I'm going to do such stupidity?" sahutku is protesting.

"Goodoo. I was thinking about it. I'm afraid your mother will change her view of me" Reynand said.

"No, Honey. You take it easy."

Reynand just smiled without saying any more. He seemed preoccupied with his own thoughts and refocused on the highway in front of him. We were both silent until we arrived at Hotel M.

Me and Reynand walked into the hotel restaurant M. Reynand pointed to a woman named Livia Joana with her chin. A woman in a light blue dress seemed to be sitting alone at a table in the middle of the room.

We stopped in front of the table. "I'm sorry, I'm late" Reynand said without taking my finger off for a moment. His gaze was sharp towards the woman sitting in front of us.

Slowly the woman named Livia Joana looked up. He looked at the two of us with a frown that instantly shriveled, looking puzzled.
