The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
S3 Peak Longing

I got off the check bed. The gynecologist in front of me just finished checking. He walked towards the consultation table. Baruna helped me up and walked over to the gynecologist. His face looks radiantly looking. We have just seen God's happiest gift. A child who was later placed in our little family.

We visited the hospital three days later. The bustle of Baruna made him unable to leave the company. Like today, he just returned from work from out of town in the afternoon and immediately took the initiative to take me to the obstetrician at night.

"At this time only the pregnancy bag is visible. For the next control one more month yes, sir. I'm going to give your wife a prescription for vitamins and nausea medication" the doctor said, typing something on her computer screen.

"Thank you, doc," we said together and looked at each other with a big smile. It feels so happy.

"Doc, are we allowed to have marital relations?" asked Baruna suddenly. It seemed like it was the only question he remembered since yesterday.

The gynecologist raised his face while smiling. "It's best to hold it until the fetus is strong enough to be in there."

"Oh ...." Baruna's response sounded disappointed. While me and the doctor's mother just laughed a little at it.

Just natural. We are newlyweds who may still not be satisfied exploring new experiences of conjugal relations. But we don't want to postpone it. As I said, having children is a gift from God.

I immediately grabbed the back of his hand, rubbing it gently. "It's okay, Doc. For the safety of our son, holding back for a while is no problem. Yeah, right, honey?" I glanced at my husband.

"I-Yes," he nodded.

After saying that, we asked further about this first pregnancy. What a thrilling first experience. Consultation went well. We both walked out of the room with happy faces.

"You know, honey. I was a little disappointed when the doctor said I had to hold it in," he said.

"You want to harm your son?" I retaliated.

"No. I'm very happy. I'll be patient for her." Baruna stroked my stomach.

I nodded while smiling. We walked to the pharmacy. I almost turned my back when I saw a woman I knew with her son sitting there waiting.

"Fely!" call me who comes straight to those two people.

Felicia and Rafael turned towards us. Both were surprised. No exception to my husband. It was like trying to avoid both.

"Sheril!" Felicia gaped and then laughed. Rise up from his seat and embrace me. "What a coincidence. What the hell are you doing here? Who's sick?" tanyakanya.

"I? Um, I'm out of the gynecologist checking my gynecologist for the first time." My eyes glinted at my best friend's face.

"Well, I'm so glad to hear that. Congratulations, Sher!" Felicia hugged me warmly. A second later release it. His eyes were on Baruna. Give his congratulations. "You too. Congratulations, Bar!" His tone changed a little. Baruna did not immediately welcome the congratulations. He just looked at Felicia blankly. At least, that's what I saw in my eyes.

"Yamaa!" Rafael's voice shocked both of them. Rafael then cried. The little boy felt neglected. His face looks pale. It seems he is not well.

The awkward moment of staring at each other was over. Felicia and Baruna turned their eyes toward Rafael. Felicia carries Rafael's body. Gently rub his back.

"Yes, Son. Mama's here. No cry. We'll be home soon" he said.

Rafael is still crying. Felicia continued to carry him while continuing to persuade the little boy. While Baruna who does not care invites me to sit in the waiting chair. But did not immediately heed my husband's invitation, but still stood with Felicia who was still carrying while moving her body to the right and left.

"Is Rafa sick?" my many.

"Yes. We're out of pediatricians" Felicia replied briefly.

"David still has a meeting with his client tonight. So, it was me and Rafa who came to the hospital."

"Oh ...."

I nodded my head. I am very happy with what David did. As I heard from Felicia before, David is a tenacious businessman and attaches great importance to the company. For him, family is number two. He wouldn't even take time off if it wasn't a very important and sudden thing.

Is a sick child not important? My mind began to wonder considering they only had one child.

Our conversation was over when the pharmacist called Felicia's number. The woman stood up.

"Okay, Sheryl. We'll have another conversation later" he said, kissing my right and left cheeks.

"Yes. Just tell me when, Fel. I have plenty of time for you and Nay" I said, drawing a line of smiles.

Felicia simply nodded then passed from before us. I sat down beside Baruna who was still silent to see Felicia and her son leaving.

"A lot of time for them, huh?" suddenly satirized. He listened to my conversation with Felicia.

"What's up, honey? You don't look like it." I answered her question with a question.

"You're pregnant young. It should not be a lot of going out of the house for things that are not important. Your work at the office is pretty busy, isn't it?" smith again.

I swallowed, then looked at him deeply. "You're now using the pregnancy excuse to limit my association?"

"You think?" Baruna answered with a question back.

"Yes. You're impressed like that, honey." My eyes narrowed accusing him. I think this is a fact. He didn't like me for a long time when I was hanging out with Felicia.

"I'm afraid you're exhausted. Your work in the office alone is enough time and energy. And you promise whenever your time is for your friends. Then where am I?" sahutnya with eyes that are half wide looking.

I chuckle. He asked where he was. "You're always next to me, honey," I said.

"Jude!" timpale.

"Handid you?" I cringe. But I could not continue my words, Baruna suddenly rose to her feet when our queue number was called.

"Let's continue this conversation" he said. I just nodded at her question. Baruna went to the pharmacy station.

After a while, we were in a car parked in the hospital parking lot. My man had since silenced his mouth when he said he would continue the conversation.

"So what's the next?" ask me while grabbing the seat belt and gluing it together.

Baruna did not answer. He twisted his body ninety degrees until our faces looked at each other. Slowly the face approached me. Her warm lips touched my lips for a moment.

"I miss you and want to have more time with you" she said.

My face turned red. Instantly my heartbeat felt timid with a rapid rush of blood. I finally understood that he was at the peak of his yearning right now. Without saying another word, I took the initiative to return her warm kiss inside our silent car.

I missed you too.
