The Marriage Order
S3 Other Lies

Sheryl Pov's

Today is my day back from the hospital. It feels so strange to be coming home to our home. All sorts of feelings mixed into one in my mind.

How not? Other than not remembering Baruna, I don't remember my two in-laws at all. We did meet some time ago. But both of them can't help me remember everything that happened. Even my parents. Mama, Papa, Kak Reza.

After not remembering anyone but Rey, am I going to go crazy after this?

I sat down beside Baruna until the car that was carrying us stopped its speed in the spacious courtyard of the Asyraf family. For a moment, I looked at my husband. Ever since he apologized last time, it seems that my husband chose not to talk much.

The handsome, clean-skinned man got out of the car, turned his steps to open the car door for me. His left hand stretched out in place of his right hand about to grab my hand.

"I can do it myself" I told him and he just nodded slowly.

I slowly stepped out of the car. Followed by Father and Mother who were in different cars, the three of us walked slowly towards the main entrance.

For a moment I paused, feeling a huge palm grabbing my finger. Quickly Baruna turned out to have offset my steps. I showed him a cold reaction.

"Are you also going to prevent me from holding your hand?"

"No." I shook my head slowly, then changed the face more friendly to him. In reality, this man is my husband.

Baruna smiled at his smile. The mother who was walking in the back commented, "Well! So dong. Don't let the dispute between you drag on."

"No, Bun. Yesterday Sheryl was just still confused by her situation" Baruna said, while I did not comment on them.

"Yes. Mom and Dad know, Bar. Mother is sure everything will pass and be fine. Child problems, you are still in productive age. There's still plenty of time to try. Even today everything can be programmed, right? Whatever it is." My mother-in-law replied with a soft voice.

"Yes, Bun," said Baruna then glanced at me, "you want to program how many kids, honey?"

Hearing her question made me swallow. My eyes are so sad, I want to cry. Although I can't remember how I got pregnant, deep down, I felt a great sadness at losing my baby.

Does Baruna not feel lost at all?Why did he ask so lightly? In this situation I don't think it's time to talk about child problems.

I didn't answer that question at all!

Baruna did not ask again. Same with both his parents. The two of them were silent, as if they had just realized the wrong thing in speaking.

The main door had just opened when suddenly a little boy about five years old ran through to us. From her tiny lips came a word that made me gasp.

"Yeah!" her shout then hugged Baruna with both of her small arms.

Daddy's? Is he my son?

My eyeballs instantly moved glancing at Baruna. My husband was smiling at her.

"Rafa, Mama told me not to run!" From within came the voice of a woman who gradually became clearer.

A few jokes later, the woman was already standing in front of us. He looked clumsy as our eyeballs met each other. I turned to Baruna.

"Who is he?" much

"Ehm ...." My husband did not answer directly. He looked at the woman for a moment.

The woman changed her facial water to be more friendly. Without further ado, then hugged me. "A, Sheryl. Welcome back!" she said with a smile, then broke her embrace, "thank you! You're finally back. I'm sorry I didn't get to visit you in the hospital."

"Sister?" I cringe.

"I'm Felicia. Brother cousin Baruna," he said, extending his hand.

"Oh .. I'm sorry, I really don't remember Brother," I said to Felicia's greeting, but my heart was really unsettled.

At first glance I saw Baruna's water changing. He widened his eyeballs while looking at Felicia as if there was a message hidden there. Meanwhile, the little boy who was hugging tightly Baruna then took off his embrace with a confused look up because he did not understand our situation.

"Dad ..," said the boy again.

"Ah, yes! He's Fely. Cousin Baruna. She lives in this house because her husband is in business abroad" Mother assured me.

"Yes. Raphael called Baruna Father because .. because they were very familiar." He also explained, although it sounded a little strange in my ear.

"Oh ...." I nodded and put on a small smile to Felicia, "sorry, Brother Fely. I can't accompany you now."

"Yes, Sher. Sure was! You have to rest a lot because you just lost your baby. That must have been very painful. I'm so sorry for you and Baruna" Felicia said with sympathy on her face.

"Thank you, Brother Fel," I said.

"Fel, we have to talk" Baruna told Felicia. The woman fell silent before she finally nodded quickly.

What are they gonna talk about? Is that something important? My head feels unable to think at this moment. What other bad things will happen to me?

Baruna took off her hand link. He bowed, asking Rafael to speak, "Rafa, please understand! My dad is busy right now. I'll take you to play, if you're not busy. Okay?"

"Yes, Dad." The boy named Rafael nodded obediently.

I noticed the interaction between the two. When you look around, the eyes of both are very similar. They were also very familiar like a child and his biological father. If a stranger sees it, he will misunderstand and take it that way.

"Come, Honey! What are you looking at?"

I was shocked. Baruna suddenly grabbed my hand again.

"Ti-nothing," I answered shaking my head quickly.

Baruna smiled then escorted me to step into the room, leaving behind the four residents of the Asyraf residence.

I was taking some clothes out of the closet. One by one I put them in a suitcase. My lips kept counting the numbers. Afraid that there wasn't enough for me to bring in because I was planning to leave the apartment in an indefinite amount of time.

My apartment bell suddenly rang. My forehead is flinched thin. I don't think there's an appointment with anyone tonight. Immediately I closed my suitcase, went out to the apartment door.

"Mama?" I said, asking why he's the one at my apartment door right now.

My mother smiled without giving her answer. He sat down on the living room couch.

"Have you eaten, Rey?" tanyakanya.

"Ehm, not yet." I nodded quickly.

"Goodoo. Mama wants to cook something for you now. We'll eat together." Mama opened her blazer and leaned it against the sofa.

"Ma, I don't think today can."

"Who? What's up?" Mama raised her eyebrows.

"I promised Dad I'd eat with him."

"Ck! Just cancel your promise. You rarely have dinner with Mama." Mom's face immediately turned a little upset. I know his feelings that might feel subordinated after they reconcile.

I exhaled a heavy breath. Actually that's not the only reason. I'd also like to know Sheryl's situation in that house right now.

"alright. I'll cancel it then," I said finally succumbing.

Hearing my words, Mama immediately published her smile. Then he stood up. Together with me walked into the kitchen. Suddenly Mama stopped her steps right in front of my room because the door was open.

"Shopper? Where are you going, Rey?"

"I plan to stay at Dad's house" I replied.
