The engagement day went well. The friendly event began. I rolled my eyes towards Kak Baruna who was not concentrating throughout the event. Though he who from yesterday wanted this event to take place as soon as possible.

"Darling, I see you're not enjoying our show. What's up?" ask me while sitting at one of the special tables for us to rest.

Baruna sister bit her own lips feeling hesitant to tell a story.

"Are there no secrets between us?" ask again.

He gulped, looking at me, "Sorry baby, but I don't know where to start."

"Say something that disturbs your mind right now" I said.

"I really don't have the face to tell a story. I'm ashamed to say it." Brother Baruna looked at me anxiously. "My assessment of both my parents changed. It turns out that my father when he was married to Aunt Aina, he had an affair and committed violence to his wife. Worse yet my mother became the woman who seized the husband of people, namely my own father dear." Kak Baruna's facial features turned disappointed.

I widened my shocked eyes looking at him. His words were like lightning in broad daylight. His parents who look so harmonious have a past like that.

"really? Where did you get that story, baby?"

"My own father told me. Yesterday father, Aunt Aina, and Reynand met. I quietly followed them to where they met. Everything is revealed there. I plan to apologize to Aunt Aina for the mistake she made years ago. He wants to solve his problems with his ex-wife."

"Then?" my many.

"I didn't understand anything until I asked him personally. Dad apologized to me for hiding the story that actually happened in the past." Brother Baruna told me with a pushy look.

I rolled my eyes towards Kak Baruna's family. Everyone was enjoying their lunch. Grandpa Awan was also present while chatting with other families.

"That's dear. That's their past. You don't have to interfere with this matter."

"I'm ashamed dear, my family that I defended desperately in front of Reynand but it turns out our real side was wrong. Reynand's entitled to be the heir to darling."

"Do you mind if that happens? You're the one who told me that you don't want that legacy, right?"

"I don't care if it's been decided like that by grandfather but in fact it's different dear. He's the one who insisted on making me the heir" he said. "Since yesterday I've decided to step down and talk to my grandfather after returning from Japan."

"I always support you, baby. I'll take a drink for a while huh," I said as I stared softly at Kak Baruna.

I moved from my seat walking towards the table where various drinks were provided. There stood Tika who was holding her baby.

"Hi Tik, how are you?"

"Hi Sheryl, congrats yeah baby! Soon break the eggs. Hahaha," he said with laughter.

"Thank you Tika has come to my show. Where's your husband?"

"Toilet. What about yesterday's case, it's over?" ask him about the fights that happened at the reunion.

"I hope so."

"I didn't think about it. In fact the news just disappeared," I said with a smile teasing the baby.

"Pick for this," said Tika glanced at the baby with a smile.

"Yes Tika if it's official. Enjoy my party yes, I go first," I said as I held two glasses of cold drink and was greeted with a nod of Tika.

I walked towards my seat which was not far from the drink table which was in the middle of the hall.

Suddenly my body was hit by one of the guests who walked in a row from the front. He did not stop his steps and continued to walk in a hurry. I lost my balance, my body fell backwards. The heels I was wearing tripped over my own dress. My eyes closed, followed by the sound of a glass falling from my hand.

The set!

My body did not touch the floor. Someone held my body with his hands. The perfume I knew smelled in my nose. I opened my eyes. Mr. Reynand's face was clearly painted in my eyes. Not long before our eyes met each other, staring for almost half a minute. Then he pulled his hand back letting me fall. It was obvious that he was completely wrong.

Buk up!

I actually fell on the floor with my ass touching the floor first. My leg sprained to hold the weight that fell first.

"Ouch!" my peek.

Everyone turned their eyes towards us. The two glasses of water I was holding fell to the floor after previously dirtying the dress I was wearing.

"That's a lot of work, Mr. Reynand. It's good to hold my body but why did he pull his hand again?"

"Sorry Sher" he said in a panic.

"Rey, what are you doing here? I've only been away for a while and you're now with your secretary" Kayla said.

Me and Mr. Reynand turned towards Kayla. Kayla folded her hands over her chest. His face was bent sour.

"Are you okay, Sher?" asked Mr. Reynand did not care about the words of his lover.

"Obviously anything sir" I said annoyed.

My face grimaced in pain. My leg hurt so bad. Kayla looked at me with a sharp glare hinting that Mr. Reynand was hers and I shouldn't be around him.

Kayla, did you see what show you were on? Still jealous of me, huh?

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it" Reynand said.

"Hey Sheryl don't get close to my girlfriend" exclaimed Kayla angrily.

"Sorry dear Sister Kayla, now you are at my engagement."

Kayla was speechless and did not reply, pulling Mr. Reynand's arm to take her away. Mr. Reynand flirted inconsiderately. Not long Baruna came to us three.

"Darling you're okay?" tanyanya's worried.

"Lumayan is sick," I answered and turned to look at Mr. Reynand. "Thank you for helping me stand up sir."

Mr. Reynand nodded with a smile.

"Thank you Rey" added Baruna. "Can you walk?" tanyanya looked back at me.

"It looks like my leg is sprained" I said.

Brother Baruna then crouched down in front of me to help me open the heels that I was wearing and put them up and embrace and make me walk towards our seats. We leave Mr. Reynand and Kayla still standing in the middle.

"How many inches of your heels?" tanyakanya.

"Ten centimetres."

"Don't wear it again. After this I'll take you to the doctor to check your legs" he ordered in a resentful tone.

"no need. It will also heal itself" I argued.

"Don't argue!"

"Okay, as you wish honey," I replied not wanting to upset her.

Baruna suddenly laughed at my reply, then replied, "Anything for you, honey."

Mama who saw me walking limping came over with a look of her anxious face. He helped me walk until I sat in my chair.

"Sheryl, you're so careless."

I bite my lips in pain.

"Ma, I'm sorry to embarrass you at such an important event" I said, staring at Mama's face.

"Nothing to forgive, dear. His name is also calamity," he replied calmly.

"Yes I'm ashamed to see everyone."

"Let's take Mama to another room." Mama and Kak Baruna helped me stand up to get me back to the room where I was waiting.

We had not stepped up, Aunt Meri approached us with a face that was no less anxious.

"Is Sheryl falling anyway?"

"Yes Aunty sorry for making the show fall apart."

"Geez, that's okay, baby" he said, then rolled his eyes at Mama, "Where are you going to take Sheryl to Rin?"

"The room was Mer" replied Mama.

"No need, just go straight to the room, rest there," said Aunt Meri. "Bar, you just keep it here" Aunty Meri ordered Kak Baruna.

Ka Baruna simply nodded with a flat face responding to her mother's orders.
