"Sherily? A baruna?"

Anton's father looked surprised looking at us. Papa glanced sharply for a moment then lowered his head, clearing the chess piece before him.

"Anton, we'll finish the game" Papa said, then got up from his seat.

"Hey, Gung! Where are you going?" Anton's father glared at the astonishment of Papa who was suddenly about to leave.

"I'm not in the mood to play" said Papa immediately brought the chessboard in his hand. At first glance, I could see Papa staring cynically at Baruna.

The hell of a time, Papa still.... I think only to Anton's father did he.

"It seems my presence has messed up the atmosphere here" said Baruna who suddenly made me look back. He looked back at Papa who was about to enter the house.

Papa stopped the move. My attention now shifts. My real father, I don't know what he wants now. It seems, his heartache has not been dashed until now to my ex-husband.

"Papa is like a child!" I don't like the way he looks at Baruna.

Papa grinned at me. The look in his eyes was very sharp. "Papa understands what it means to have your ex-in-law here tonight. He wants to propose to Reynand. "So, are you willing to accept my proposal for Rey?" Anton's father suddenly grinned with his neat rows of teeth.

"Don't switch the conversation! Who says I've forgiven you and Baruna? He betrayed my daughter."

Baruna looked to take a long breath. He then walked towards the long sofa and laid Rafael there. The little boy looks good in his sleep. He didn't wake up at all.

"Mas, it's cold in here. Rafa better sleep inside," I said seeing her couldn't bear it.

"It's okay, Sher. Just a moment," said Baruna with a small smile and then moved to Papa again, "I don't know how else to apologize to Om. I just want our deteriorating relationship to be back as good as it was."

Papa shook his head, not responding at all. He turned his face away from Baruna. But suddenly. Baruna knelt before Papa. His head looked up at him seriously.

Anton's father was aghast at his actions. "Bar, don't beg–"

"I'm sorry, Om. Really am! I can't believe Om hurt the most about my behavior in the past."

Slowly, Papa looked. He stared back at Baruna with his arrogant face water. "Good when you know. The sick are not just Sheryl. Um, Aunt Rini, and Reza—your own best friend. You broke our hearts so much!"

I can't just stand by looking at this sight. Papa will explode with his emotions.

Anton's father who was still in that place also shed tears. He walked over to Papa.

"Thank you for forgiving our mistakes, Gung. I know you're my true friend."
