One Step Closer

"If that's what Mama wants, Miko just come along. Moreover, everyone is supportive."

"This house is completely shrouded in happiness now" said mas Tito, who had just entered the house.

"I really can't wait to get Miko married next" said Mas Tito with a smile.

"You're happy now, aren't you, brother? Your children are both getting married."

Aunt hera laughed as she looked at Mama who had smiled at Miko.

"I'll thank God for all His blessings" said Mama happily.

Happiness enveloped them all. Seen from their smiling faces looking forward to the wedding of Dance and Miko's application.

The event was held in my house. Papa and Mama were sitting in the right seat with Auntie and Om Dedy. On the left there is Mama Miko with mas Tito, Lina and Tari. In the back row all blend in between my family and Miko's family.

Miko looks relaxed sitting next to her mother. He looks handsome in a shirt of matching color with the dress I'm wearing. As I descended from the stairs at Wiwin's side, he smiled at me. His eyes did not leave me until I sat beside him.

Miko held my hand just after I sat down. He didn't stop smiling at me and at all the guests. I just bowed embarrassed but kept smiling, happy this is what I thought. Now all I ever dreamed of was feeling how to apply.

I looked at Mama Miko, she smiled as she nodded. The promise that Mama made to ask my parents was fulfilled even though it wasn't for Bimo but for Miko.

As the MC calls Miko to convey the meaning of her arrival, Miko dashingly walks forward. He was preparing to give a word of proposal.

"What a pretty shirt?"

The first word Miko said while looking at me. Greeted applause and cheers from guests.

I took a deep breath. Trying to stare at Miko and nod in agreement and wipe away the happy tears.

The boisterous sound of applause echoed in the room where our event was. Miko approached me who was still sobbing. My aunt immediately called the makeup team to fix my makeup that was damaged by crying.

"Don't cry anymore, we want this photo session. You'll be ugly later" she protested.

Miko walked towards my family

I saw Miko talking to my family members including Andi. I went to Miko's family who had been staring at me.

"Finally you remain part of our family" Lina said happily.

"Mama has fulfilled the promise of Mama first, relieved to feel," said Mama excited.

"Congratulations, Kia is destined to be my sister-in-law" Tito smiled and shook my hand.

Dance said nothing, she hugged me while crying happily. I knew he was one of the people who most wanted me to be happy with his sister. All my friends also congratulated and prayed for our happiness.

I stood staring at everyone and swept a glance at anyone in this room. They looked excited and happy, so there was no reason to doubt that I could also be happy. Especially when the chatty beautiful girl came over to me while carrying the chocolate cake in her hands.

"I love you mama Kia, hope you happyines. ever and-ever, ' said Bena sweetly and handed me the cake.
