The whole class was still in a daze after all that excitement.

The news was clearly up to the ears of their class lecturers as well. Since Stella and Fabian were getting awards and both were in her class, it meant that even she would become famous!

An announcement is coming soon, stating that everyone from the degree program needs to attend the donor awards show. Such events become a big problem on campus as only a few other events — such as sports day — gives students the opportunity to increase their popularity.

After hearing that, the duo's classmates all liked it! After all, how could they not after knowing that their two classmates would soon become famous?

It was after a short lunch break when everyone from the degree program started heading to the school hall.

Gerald, however, started heading towards their class instead.

"Are you not attending the event, Gerald?" ask Marven.

"I don't!" answer Gerald.

He had attended many events like this in the past. It's nothing special to him. For him, the act of donating is just a way to express love and care for others. Since he had already done so through his donation, he did not feel the need to attend such an event with the others.

“But Gerald, look! Both goddesses were present! ” said Marven while pointing towards the entrance of the school hall.

Squinting his eyes, Gerald realized that he was right.

“Come, let's just go! Since everyone is leaving, we won't look good if we choose not to attend, right?” added Marven.

“Kurasa... Alright then!” gerald replied while shaking his head helplessly.

Marven has a point. It was useless for him to be seen as a freak. After all, he still had to hang out with the students there for quite a while.

So, Gerald ended up following Marven to the hall.

Once they were inside, they saw the two girls sitting alone in the last row, being humble as usual.

No one dared to sit far away near them, preferring to stand rather than do so.

"Damn it, there are no seats left!" marven said while scratching the back of his head.

"Whatchu mean? There are many empty seats there!” gerald replied as he looked towards Jasmine.

"Hello pretty, I assume this chair wasn't taken?" gerald said with a smile.

His statement, however, received no response from the two girls. They just kept staring coldly ahead.

Marven himself now nervously tugged at Gerald's elbow, desperately trying to hint him to sit somewhere other than there. After all, if they were to trigger those two goddesses, both of them would be as good as dead.

Gerald, however, only shrugged indifferently before pulling Marven to sit right next to him.

Jasmine could feel her eyebrows raised even though she kept silent.

After everyone arrived, the event then officially began. Opening the event, the principal gave a welcome which was then followed by a welcome from other student representatives.

In the speech mentioned that only 'excellent donors' will be announced by name. 'Amazing donors' are those who donated more than fifteen dollars.

It also mentioned that the names would be announced at random, not in the order of how many were donated. Meanwhile, the exact amount contributed by the 'extraordinary donor' will still be mentioned.

It didn't take long for someone who donated a hundred and fifty dollars to be announced. When the students heard that, whispers could be heard among the crowd.

The whisper escalated into a cry of admiration and shock when the other person was announced to have contributed over four hundred and fifty dollars.

Among the 'extraordinary donors', Gerald also heard the names Maia and Warren mentioned.

It seems that the two have donated nine hundred dollars each.

Of course, this caused a sensation among the students when they heard such a high number of donations.

“Now, according to this list, a total of twelve students donated nine hundred dollars upwards! Therefore, we look forward to inviting them on stage to each receive a certificate of honor!”

The host then cleared his throat before reading out, “Master. Warren and Ms. Maia! Please get on stage! ”

What followed was an explosion of applause as Warren and Maia took to the stage.
