When the priest finally woke up, he was greeted with a view of a young man's back.
Recalling that he had been pulled by a strong and invisible force before — before he fainted — the surprised priest then muttered, “A-who are you ..?”
“Who I don't matter. However, what matters is who you are, and what you all plan to do here at Mount Sacrasolis,” Gerald replied as he slowly turned around before looking at the man coldly.
The moment the man saw Gerald, his entire body began to tremble uncontrollably as he stuttered, “Young Master?! That you?!"
Watching the frightened man kneel right in front of him, Gerald could not help but frown a little as he curiously muttered, “....Young Master?”
"Indeed! Still, when exactly did it arrive, Young Master? ” ask pastor
“I can come and go as I please, right?” tease Gerald in response.
Although he was not quite sure why the priest had called him as 'Young Master', Gerald still felt that this was the perfect opportunity to lure information from the man. He hoped that some of the investigations around would be successful.
"Also, you haven't answered my first question!" added Gerald with a commanding tone.
Hearing that, the frightened priest quickly bowed before replying, “B-how could you possibly forget, Young Master…? After all, we are all here because we have a secret order from the family to go to Mount Sacrasolis to repair the holy stone! There is an area here called Sacrasolis Pond, and we have been refining the Sacrasolis Holy stone for over a month now!”
“Sacrasoli Holy Stone, you say? I'm seeing. And what happened to all the original Priests of the Sacrasolis Church?” gerald asked as he nodded while slowly composing a larger picture.
“It can wait. By the way, have you heard of someone named Master Ghost before? ” asked Gerald, now more certain than ever that there are many secrets hidden inside this mountain.
“Master Ghost? But of course, I know him! After all, you're the one who ordered us to hunt him down! If you forget, we already have it in our hands! You even ordered the chieftain to watch over him at all times! ” said pastor.
"So Master Ghost has been captured by your group all this time ?!" gerald replied while slightly raising an eyebrow.
“...Y-Young Master…? Are you…?" muttered the priest while raising a little bit of his eyebrows as well, finally realizing that the person in front of him seemed to have a somewhat different personality compared to the young master he knew... Besides, isn't it strange that young master of all people? ask him all these questions...?
'Well, this is perfect! To think that I would get all this information easily!' Gerald thought to himself.
As it turned out, the Ghost Master had escaped to Mount Sacrasolis to hide inside the Sacrasolis Church, instead, and all of this had led to an incident where she met Xyrielle and told her about her wealth behind the mountain some time ago. Unfortunately, this group of 'priests' came some time later and completely reversed Mount Sacrasolis for two different reasons. First, to search for and capture Master Ghost, and second, to gain access to the Sacrasolis Pool.
With that said, no wonder he had been unable to find where Master Ghost had been all along!
“...So, who is Hoyt Crawford you mentioned that for? Also, explain a little more about your young master, ” Gerald replied with a smile.
“.... H-yes? So, you really are not a young master..?!” the priest replied as he immediately stood up, a look of caution on his face.
"To be honest I'm surprised you took this long to realize it," Gerald replied with a chuckle, knowing full well that this man was trying to escape.
