“Thank you so much for handling this situation, Yuna! You really know a lot of people!” maia said excitedly.

“Why are you even thanking me? I should be the one to thank you all! Although I'd like to at least treat you and your friends with a decent meal to help me, it pains me to say that I should immediately return to the company first. How about this? Here's my number. If you are having any problems in the future, please feel free to call me!”

It was obvious that Yuna still felt grateful to Maia for intervening to save her early.

Since she also knew that Maia was a true fan of hers, it made sense that Yuna cared so much for her.

After leaving her contact information with Maia, she left the scene.

“I'm so jealous of you Maia! To think that you actually made it into Yuna's good book! ” says Vincy as soon as Yuna leaves.

What Maia said could not be far from the truth. What he suspected as him trying to sneak away, was simply him moving aside to send Line's message to Zack earlier.

Hearing that, Lennard starts dragging Vince away. In no time, Gerald was alone again.

Gerald could only sigh in his mind before laughing bitterly.

Looking at his phone, he then thought, 'Well, this is amazing! Thinking that nagging is my reward for helping her!'

"Trs. Crawford!” called out to the old man from earlier with a smile when he saw Gerald approaching.

The old man was named Wace, and he was a calligrapher and antiquities collector in southwestern Salford Province.

“So, did you manage to identify the origin of that jade, Mr Wace?” ask Gerald.

Hearing his question, Mr. Wace then nodded before saying, “Indeed! While it is true that I recognized the pendant when I first saw it, I still needed time to properly analyze it to be absolutely sure. Now, I am sure without a doubt that this particular type of jade pendant can only be owned by the Fenderson family in County Salford. I know for sure because every descendant of the Fenderson family has a similar jade pendant. Another interesting thing about this type of jade pendant, is that it is divided into three levels. Since this particular pendant has top rank, I can only assume that its rightful owner is Xara Fenderson, a direct descendant of the Fenderson family!”

“Fenderson Family? While I have investigated several large families here, not once have I come across a name, 'Fenderson.'” Gerald said as he nodded.

Mr. Wace only laughed a little when he heard that.

“I won't blame you for not knowing about them, Mr. Crawford's. After all, the Fenderson family had been lying for more than a few decades now. They are so good at it that there is hardly any news about the family available to the public at all! In the past, the family was considered quite powerful and influential not only in County Salford, but also in other Westons. However, in just one night, all the news about the family was no more! Due to lack of news from Fenderson, no one talks about their family anymore.”
