His eyes stared coldly at the man as he asked a question.

With his sharp ears, Gerald could hear how the man was breathing from where he was standing. Based on that alone, Gerald could already tell that this was an extraordinary person.

As the figure did not reply, Gerald was about to consider his next move when suddenly, a few flashes of lights flashed in front of him. The next thing he knew, four other similarly dressed men jumped out of nowhere and they were now all standing in front of him!

'Could it be the Moldell family?' Gerald thought to himself.

"There are two reasons why we called you today, Gerald!" announced the man who led Gerald there. From his voice, Gerald could guess that the person behind the hood was a rather old man.

“Before that, I hope you realize that the Crawford surname has been passed down for many years and is widely associated with great honor and wealth. Know that as the young master of the Crawford family, you have humiliated and undermined the Crawford family's moral standards and their way of life by agreeing to become a stay-at-home son-in-law! Therefore, the first reason we call you today is to teach you a lesson!”

"You'll know who he is once you meet him!" the old man replied before leaving immediately.

As Gerald speculated, he thought about how great it would be if Finnley was by his side now. After all, Finnley could definitely estimate how powerful these people really were!

When Gerald tried to question the Mighty Four Kingsmen for more details, all they did was nod or shake their heads. It was clear that he would not get any useful information from them, and this made Gerald feel very helpless about the whole situation.
