Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 914

After saying that, Gerald patted Stella on the shoulder before nodding towards the driver.

Seeing that, the driver just left as Gerald closed the car door.

When Stella turned to look at Gerald through the back window of the car, a flash of lightning illuminated the sky behind her. Although she had just moved from where she was standing before, Stella felt a chill run down her spine as she looked at the expression on her face for a split second as lightning struck.

It was then that Stella knew that she was no longer the Gerald she had ever known. The new Gerald is scary.

As he slowly disappeared from his sight, a roar of thunder could be heard, dark clouds covering the night sky. Heavy rain soon followed accompanied by a huge gust of strong wind.

With the storm already here, Gerald himself began to make his next move…

Returning to the Schuyler family home, several representatives from the Long and Moldell families now watch as Noah berates his son.

“How did they all manage to escape?! Not only did you fail to catch the perpetrator involved with the fire, but now we also lost our hostages ?! ” roared Noah furiously.

“While we were hot on Jasmine and the traces of her group earlier, they somehow managed to sneak away as they ran into the forest area! However, don't worry! I will definitely catch them sooner or later, dad!” yael answered while wiping the cold rain from his face.

“Huh! You've messed up a lot of time tonight, Yael! How can I feel confident letting you inherit such a large property in the future now ?! ” Noah added in his anger.

Throughout his long life, this was the first time he had been humiliated this deep by someone, so it was no wonder why he felt so embarrassed.

“Don't blame Mr. Yael again, Mr. Schuyler. It was evident that Fenderson was secretly receiving help from someone else this time. After all, Jasmine and the others escaping did not affect us too much. After all, we already have complete control over Bryson. Let's focus on improving our workforce there. No matter how capable our unseen enemies are, we are sure they will not be able to create further chaos, ” said several members of the Long and Moldell families as they stepped forward.

Hearing that, Noah calmed down a little before nodding.

"…You're right. Since both of your families are helping us in this regard, I believe that everything will still be fine. As you said, escaped captives do not really affect the overall plan. Let's let the incident slide for now! I'm sure you all haven't had enough wine before! Let's have a drink while chatting all night about our upcoming great success! The waiter! Prepare more wine and dishes now!” noah's orders.

When one of the servants ran to fill Noah's wine glass, he accidentally messed up the contents on Noah's lap!

“Damn it! Do you have a death wish ?! ” roared Noah who was already in a bad mood.

“A-I'm sorry sir! I'm sorry!"

“This is so annoying... Where is my wife? He was here a while ago, wasn't he? Call him and tell him to make a toast! After all, there are so many distinguished guests here today!” noah grumbled while shaking his head.

Cupping her swollen cheeks, the maid immediately ran out of the room to call Noah's wife.

However, once he was far enough away, he turned to face the room before spitting.

“You old b*star! You will surely die a terrible death someday! Haley, call his wife!” the waiter shouted as he continued to glare at the door of the conference room.

Although she knew for sure that Haley—a female servant— was among the few other servants placed in this particular corridor, no answer came back. Turning around, he then shouted the command again, although the only answer he got was an extremely loud rumble of thunder.

The intensity of the thunder made him shiver on the spot.

“.... What's up…? Where are the other servants? Actually, where is everyone? ” said the waiter, puzzled by how lonely the whole place was.

At that moment, the light in the courtyard flickered once before everything outside turned dark.

Seeing this, the waiter started walking towards the entrance of the manor confusedly as he said, “Damn it... Where are all the bodyguards? Were they all struck by lightning or something?”

As he opened the front door of the mansion, a flash of lightning illuminated the entire courtyard. It was at that moment that the servant finally realized why the entire mansion was empty.

A scream of pure terror followed shortly afterwards.
