“... A lyra? Ah...” said Daryl and Dylan rather awkwardly.
Daryl himself now realized how unusual he was to behave today, even though it seemed like he couldn't help it. After all, he was lucky enough to meet his great-grandson before participating in the promise of holy water, an event he knew he would not be able to return alive.
Since God has answered his prayer for a chance to meet Mable, one can easily imagine how happy Daryl is once he finds out that the baby is his great-grandson.
Now that Lyra was here, however, she immediately felt embarrassed. After all, Lyra was the official daughter-in-law of the Crawford family. From what she heard, Lyra even became the only person in charge of all Crawford— family affairs no matter if it was big or small— for many years.
"…Oh! I'm not too sure either.. I just think that this kid is so cute so I brought him!” daryl replied with an increasingly awkward attitude.
Hearing that, Lyra simply nodded without a sound.
When Daryl hands Mable over to Dylan, he notices that Lyra is holding some kind of white scroll.
Reaffirming his master-like attitude, he then asked, "So, why do you want to meet Gerald, Lyra?"
“Well, some strange images appeared when I saw the picture of the sun again a few days ago .. Because Gerald had assigned me to find a woman in white, dress, I feel that the image of the sun may have given us a new clue.
Ever since Daryl realized that—unlike ordinary people—mata Lyra was able to decipher the image of the sun prophecy, he made Lyra responsible for the image.
“Does that picture give us more guidance? Hmm... Alright, let's go to the study room to discuss this together!” daryl said with a slight frown.
Moments later, all relevant people find themselves in the workspace when Lyra unrolls the white scroll, presenting a drawn image.
When Daryl and Gerald saw her, Lyra hurriedly said, “Yesterday, Gerald told me to ask for a picture of the sun for the location of the woman in white. According to Gerald, the woman seemed to have some sort of relationship with him... However, even after asking it a few times, it only revealed the image—that I drew—on the scroll... Since you were so anxious to find him, I'm assuming you found some key clues during your trip in the desert, Gerald?
“Indeed.. I can't tell you about everything that happened there during the call, but know that everything that happened during my trip in the desert felt very strange. Somehow, everything I experienced there felt connected to the woman in white, and this included my death prophecy. Call it a hunch, but once the woman in white was finally found, I felt that all the mysteries in my heart would be solved, ” replied Gerald.
“...How weird.... Where have I seen this before…? Looks like very familiar..” murmured Gerald.
Hearing that, Daryl then asked, “You've seen this picture before, Gerald?”
Gerald remained silent, continuing to frown for a moment as he remained deep in thought. Finally, a realization appeared on Gerald, prompting him to raise his head while shouting, "Alice!"
Hearing the name, Lyra looked at Gerald curiously.
"That's it! The jade charm that Alice wore! It looks exactly like the picture on that roll!” added Gerald.
"You're right! Mable seemed to be wearing a similar jade talisman around her neck as well!” answer Daril.
With that, Gerald immediately rolled up the white scroll and carried it as he rushed towards Alice's room.
“G-Gerald! You finally want to come see me! ” shouted Alice.
Completely ignoring his statement, Gerald rushed in front of him before grabbing the jade charm that had hung around his neck. Now in his hands, he was comparing the charm to the image on the scroll. As expected, the two are identical.
“So I was right! Alice, where did you get this jade charm?” ask Gerald!
"I don't know!" shrieked Alice worriedly as she immediately shook her head.
"Do I need to force an answer from you?" gerald growled coldly.
