Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 653

Gerald had just taken the porridge for Queta when he received a text message from an unknown number.

After reading the contents, Gerald was stunned.

'When are you going back to Hong Kong? Already been? I haven't even had time to explain myself to her!'

Soon after, he started driving to the airport. On the way there, he bombarded Mila with endless calls. But not once did he lift it.

Unfortunately, when he finally arrived, he was just in time to see a plane take off slowly.

Gerald was so anxious at the time that he was ready to make some arrangements to get a helicopter to catch up with him.

However, before he could do anything in a hurry, he received another text message.

This one came straight from Mila.

“Gerald, I'll go back to Hong Kong first. You don't have to explain anything to me about what happened today. I trust you. To be honest, I acted out of spite earlier because of my jealousy. To be honest I just want you to persuade and calm me down. However, now I realize that I never even considered your feelings before doing all that! For now, please don't come looking for me just yet. I just need some time. Forever love you, Mila.”

After reading the message, Gerald was even more anxious now. He continued to scratch the back of his head as he wondered, 'What does this mean? Why did he say such things all of a sudden?'

Gerald hit the steering wheel with a bit of frustration.

'It's been a long time since we last met, but he's been gone before we even got to talk to each other properly ...'

When Gerald returned to the hospital, he looked still upset.

In the end, Gerald inevitably told Queta about what had happened, hoping that he could give her some advice on the matter.

'What exactly does Mila mean by that message? Does he want to break up with me? Or is it really something else…?'

After hearing Gerald's story, Queta just smiled.

“He didn't break up with you at all! Didn't you see that she specifically added the part that said she loved you forever? I'm sure he wrote that because he knew for sure that you would think too much about his message. Don't worry Gerald, obviously he just wants to be left alone for a while!”

Gerald only sighed inwardly when he heard Queta's reply.

'In short, he's still mad at me ...'

'If I had not agreed to help Giya, none of this would have happened!'

'However, Mila did say that she wanted to be left alone for a while ... It would be best if I didn't bother him for now ...'

The next day, Gerald, Queta, and Finnley boarded a high-speed train bound for Salford Province.

Gerald's on a mission to find someone there.

Before boarding the high-speed train, Zack had told Gerald about a small property located in Salford Province that Gerald's sister had invested in earlier.

While he seemed to have long forgotten about it, that was the reason why he now had someone in Salford Province to help him.

Since he had the relevant connections there and enough money, it would only take a few more days to search for the person.

“Eat fruits, Mister Quick! I've cut some for you!” the Queta word is still a bit weak.

However, it was clear that he felt grateful to Finnley for saving his life. In fact, he had been taking good care of Gerald and Finnley ever since they entered the high-speed rail.

“So... Where exactly is your home, Mr Quick?”

“I forgot the exact address, but I can definitely look for it again once we arrive in Salford Province!” answer Finnley.

Gerald could only smile helplessly hearing it.

As Gerald looked out the window, visibly lost in thought, he heard the confused voice of the woman saying, “...Gerald? Why are you here?"

This surprised. To think that he would meet an acquaintance here of all places. Turning around to see who called out to him, he discovered that it was Maia!

Beside him, there was another person he hit the other day. If he remembers correctly, his name is Warren.

The two sat right across from them and they seemed to be part of a group made up of several other strangers.

However, what surprised him the most was the way they dressed. Unlike what they wore on the last day they met, they were now dressed like students.

Just then, a girl from Maia's group also looked towards Gerald, following Maia's gaze.

“I'm headed to Salford Province! Where are you going?" gerald replied casually.

“We will go there too! But you don't need to know why we went there!” maia said calmly.

'A serious coincidence!'
