Vince himself just lowered his head without saying a word.

Meanwhile, Xavion finally realizes that Gerald is present and when he does, he becomes so excited that his lips begin to shake.

His embarrassment was justified because he could now feel people staring at him either left or right. Everyone seemed to experience complicated emotions as they continued to stare at Gerald.

Although she felt awkward, Gerald just walked into the hotel in a calm manner.

Xyla could only stare in surprise as Gerald walked past her and headed straight for the stage.

After saying that, he then looked to the other guests before saying, “Everything, we have a very honored guest today! It's Mr. Crawford of Mayberry, a very rich and powerful figure who also owns Mountain Top Villa!”

As the audience goes wild from confirmation that Gerald is really the only one, Mr. Crawford, suddenly a laugh similar to a mad woman pierced through all the noise.

Everyone then turned to look at the girl who had made such a crazy laugh.

"What are you laughing at, Xyla?" asked Leon who was also surprised by his crazy laughter.

"Ha huh! What do you mean what am I laughing at? I laughed at Gerald, of course! How amazing that he had deceived so many people! But what's even harder to believe is the fact that everyone here actually believes that he is Mr Crawford! Don't any of you think that's a rather ridiculous claim? ” Xyla replied as she walked forward, continuing to laugh.

After hearing what he said, some wealthy businessmen on stage started to frown. This was especially so for Chairman Gordon as he glared at Xyla.

“What do you think you are saying? Men! Get him out of this place immediately!” yelled Xavion furiously.

“Do not misunderstand, Chairman Gordon. I have no intention of offending you at all! I'm just hoping that you won't continue to be fooled by that person. After all, I was his High School classmate! I know all about his past and his living conditions very well! Vince also noticed it! She was nothing more than a poor person who could not even afford her own food!”

As soon as the audience heard that, everyone simultaneously heaved a sigh of relief. Could this be Mr. Fake crawford?

Seeing how everyone seemed to believe her now, Xyla became even more arrogant than before. If things continued to go well, then he would manage to show off in front of all these influential businessmen!
