Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 1101

Back when he first saw the mural in the Divine Tomb, Gerald had learned that the woman in white was inspired by an old beggar to separate the coffin from the god. However, no one knew where the tomb of the woman in white clothes was.

Now that Alice had mentioned an ancient tomb, Gerald inevitably made a connection with it. Has the woman in the white coffin been taken to the south of the sea after the separation? Is it currently buried in the tomb of the king of the seas?

“...Where is the tomb of the king of the seas located?” gerald asked after pondering for a moment.

In response, Alice told him everything she knew.

Gerald himself noticed everything he said. After all, he honestly felt that it was very necessary for him to go there to investigate on his own.

For all he knew, the woman in white was very likely buried inside the tomb of the king of the seas. While Lyra first dreams of the woman standing by the river in the poison-filled forest, Gerald remembers she later told him she wasn't quite sure if it was a river or an ocean.

Moreover, the image of the sun directly hinted that the jade talisman was the main clue to finding the white-clothed woman. Based on the current turn of events, Gerald was able to safely say that the image had actually given them a big clue.

After that, he passed on everything he had just learned to Daryl.

In response, the surprised Daryl could not help but answer, “....Are you planning to search for the tomb of the king of the seas? The promise of holy water will happen in less than three months, you know? ”

While Gerald was well aware that the promise was as important as finding the woman in the white tomb, he was, he knew that he would not be able to calm down if he at least did not try to get to the bottom of the incident regarding the god. After all, there was a chance that he would get another answer once he found the woman in white.

“Indeed me, grandpa. However, after I finish my investigation, I will return soon. I wouldn't even think of delaying the promise of holy water. Speaking of appointments, here. It's a mysterious mirror!” gerald replied while handing the mirror over to Daryl.

"…What? Doesn't this belong to Christopher?”

"The only. If you meet him there, you can order him as you like. Trust me when I say he won't dare to fight you ...

Hearing that, Daryl's eyes widened as he said, “...Gerald, you..”.

Seeing his grandfather's incredulous expression, Gerald then told Daryl everything that had happened while he was still in the desert.

"…What? Your strength and training have surpassed the realm of legends, my grandson? Really it?" daryl replied, feeling very happy as he firmly patted Gerald on the shoulder with pride.

The next day soon came and Gerald immediately prepared to set out in search of the sea king's tomb. Before his departure, he watched as his grandfather took everyone from the Soul Palace away.

After that was done, he then headed to a place called Halimark City — located on the beach located in Plymsend Bay — to take a look.

By the time Gerald got off the ship, night had come.

Once down, Gerald was immediately greeted by the sight of several passenger ships bound at the port. There also seems to be a lot of tourists, mostly made up of couples and some groups of three.

Turning to look at the vast ocean, Gerald narrowed his eyes as the sea breeze blew into his face.

Somewhere out there is a place called the Limitless Depth. According to the mural, the old beggar had separated the woman in white from the god before burying her in that location.

How could that old man be so cruel? If he was really buried there, he was very far from a god.

As Gerald turned to look at the next beach, deep in thought, he suddenly heard the person standing in front of him shout, "Gerald!"

Looking up, he saw that it was a woman who might come with a group of tourists currently standing in front of him.

Stunned that he knew his name, he brushed off his previous thoughts while looking at the woman. She was very similar to someone from the city, and that woman—who also wore sunglasses and a sun hat—had dressed herself up to look young. While Gerald thought it was a little familiar, he simultaneously also found it quite strange.

“...Who are you again?”

"Ha huh! It's me, Yasmin! Yasmeen Linford's? I graduated a year earlier than you! Don't tell me you've forgotten me?” said the tall and slim lady while smiling beautifully. She then took off her sunglasses, fully displaying her small face and charming appearance.

Now slowly recalling who he was, Gerald then replied, “Ah, this is you, Yasmeen!”

As those memories begin to return to her, Gerald recalls that Yasmeen was still in second grade when she first started studying at Mayberry University. Then, he would become the president of the university student union. Since he was so poor back then, he had to work part-time and frugal, so he also had to meet him often. Therefore, he knew her well enough.

Because she was wearing sunglasses before and the makeup she was wearing was quite beautiful— compared to the ones she used to wear—she could not realize that it was her at first sight.

Now that she knew who she was, however, she could feel that she had grown into a strong and independent woman. From the looks of it, he was also quite good at socializing.
