Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 1005

“Added…? Also, wait, young man. Are you serious here? ” replied the old man, his eyes widened in shock.

Gerald simply shook his head before asking the old man for his bank account number with a smile on his face. After a short call, the old man was completely shocked five minutes later when he saw that seven hundred and seventy thousand dollars had actually been put into his account.

"Thank you, young man!" said the old man while smiling widely. His joy was not surprising. After all, he would never dream that he could actually sell that iron plaque for such a high amount.

Gerald himself had bought the item because although the plaque did not look like anything special, there was only something extraordinary about it. It gave Gerald a feeling similar to when he first saw the image of the sun half a year ago.

It might just be a hunch, but Gerald chose to believe it.

At that time, a group of — people made up of foreigners and locals dressed in — fancy clothes started walking towards Gerald and the old man.

As they were in front of the two, another old man wearing traditional clothes smiled as he said, "I wonder if you allow me to see the iron plaque in your hands, sir ..."

Seeing this, the old man who had sold the iron plaque immediately began to worry that his money would be taken from him. As a result, he quickly left the scene, not daring to linger any longer.

Gerald, on the other hand, simply handed the iron plaque to the other old man while saying, "Sure."

Gently taking it from Gerald, the old man in traditional clothes held an iron plaque in his hand before slowly stroking its surface. It didn't take long for his expression to suddenly change drastically.

"What's up, Mr Snyder?" ask one of the foreigners who seems to be the leader of the group.

“Well, one of them, this iron plaque is definitely not an ordinary thing! I will be honest and say that there is actually a holy spirit surrounding it!” answer Mr. Snyder as his hands trembled slightly.

The moment the stranger heard that, his mood instantly lifted as he turned to look at Gerald before saying, “How much did you pay for this? I will pay fifty times the price for this iron plaque!”

Hearing that, Gerald turned to look at Mr. Snyders. So it turned out that this old man was as insightful as he was.

Regardless, even if the stranger raised his price to five thousand times what he originally paid, Gerald did not release the plaque.

“I appreciate the offer, but I do not sell it,” replied Gerald while taking back the iron plaque from Mr. Snyders.

Not hearing the answer he wanted, the stranger frowned before turning to look at a young man standing by his side. The young man himself looked to be around twenty-six years old and wore quite luxurious clothes, just like the other people in the group of strangers.

As Gerald looked at Zolton's delicate smile, he simply replied, "Once again, I appreciate the offer, but I don't sell it."

With that, Gerald slightly nodded at the group before trying to leave with the iron plaque.

However, before he could leave, an old man with white hair—who had also been standing near Zolton all this time— stepped in front of Gerald, preventing him from leaving.

Looking at him, Gerald could see that the iris of the rather unusually impressive man's eyes looked somewhat triangular. Slightly narrowing his eyes, Gerald realized that the white-haired man had eyes similar to those of a poisonous snake.

It was clear to Gerald at the time that the man blocking his path actually had inner strength. So it seems like the long history that Lovewells established in Logan Province has allowed them to build a truly remarkable background.

"What does this mean, Mr Lovewell?" gerald asked as he turned to look at Zolton.

However, in response, Zolton only turned to look away as the white-haired old man grabbed Gerald's wrist firmly.

As he tightened his grip, he coldly said, “As mentioned earlier, he is willing to raise the price fifty times what you paid. How are you still not satisfied with that, sir? ”

Even before the old man's punishment ended, he had already unleashed a secret power into Gerald's body!

'You're really overestimating your abilities!' Gerald thought inwardly while sneering before waving his hand in an indifferent manner. Just by making that simple move, Gerald was able to break the old man's inner strength!

Realizing what had just happened, the old man looked at Gerald in panic as he staggered back a few steps.

“I told you, I didn't sell it. Please don't keep bothering me, ” Gerald said as he walked away.

“...Are you really sure that the plaque is a treasure, Mr Snyder? I can't feel anything from him! ” said the stranger with a frown upon seeing Gerald leave.

Taking the compass, Sir, Snyder then replied, “The compass brought us here, so I am sure that the iron plaque is what it points to. In fact, the compass was now pointing in the direction where the young man was going! No questions about it!”

"I understand. If you're sure, Mr. Snyder, then we should definitely get that plaque, no matter what!” zolton said as he placed his hands on his back.

It was then that he finally realized that the white-haired man had a flabbergasted expression on his face.
