Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 948

The voice came from Gerald, and after a loud sneer, he took a fork.

Looking at the plaque, Gerald narrowed his eyes for a moment before flicking his wrist very quickly. A split second later, the fork was no longer in Gerald's hands and the sound of something cracking could be heard!

By the time the audience looked up, the fork— that had been embedded in one of the many pieces of the destroyed plaque—had fallen to the ground beside the rest of the broken plaque.

The collision soon followed as the pieces of the plaque broke further on the ground, the forks were still clearly visible to the five bosses as they gulped.

“...A-what..?”

Shock and fear struck them, and people who had previously smoked each felt their grip on their cigarettes come loose.

“A-who exactly is that person..?”

“That's... It's almost impossible isn't it…? I mean, how could someone have such great power to break such a tall plaque?!”

It was clear that the five bosses had never seen such a maneuver before when they discussed what they had just witnessed, terror reflected in their eyes. Although no one mentioned it, they all thought the same thing. If the plaque could break like that despite being so high above the ground, what would happen if Gerald used the same technique on their heads?

Whistler and his men, on the other hand, only looked at each other with subtle smiles on their faces as they each thought, 'Huh. It seems like the master took it himself and moved. Of course they'll be dumbfounded.'

It is proven that the incident of the plaque outbreak is an indirect message from Gerald to the five bosses. Basically, he had no interest in dividing the territory with them, and if they did not behave properly, they would probably end up the same as the plaque. Completely destroyed in an instant.

With a silent message sent, Gerald then sat down with a subtle smile on his face as he said, "Chairman Jey and all of you, please sit down."

“B-soon, M-Mr. Crawford!” stuttered Diego as he desperately tried to stay calm. However, his calm facade was in shambles and the cold sweat running down his forehead only showed how frightened he was.

His response was reasonable because he was, however, in the presence of a man who could kill others with an ordinary fork. And forks were everywhere in the room they were in.

Knowing that makes everyone feel obligated to greet him differently.

After a moment of silent contemplation, one of the five bosses said, “I use the name of Tristen Jurden, Mr. Crawford, and I have to say that I'm very impressed with your ability. If you allow it, I'm willing to hand over all my property to you and become one of your subordinates!

The moment the other boss heard Tristen say that, the other boss immediately agreed to do the same. One by one, the bosses agreed to the same terms, until all that was left was Diego.

The worst part of all this is the fact that the five of them were the ones who invited Gerald that night. If they hadn't invited him, none of this would have happened.

Then again, it may be beyond their wildest imaginations that a civilian and military meeting could end in a disastrous way, at least for them.

As soon as Gerald and his men return to their mansion, Whistler eagerly informs Gerald of how some Talgo City businessmen have called, asking to take refuge under Gerald.

Hearing that, Gerald recalled how the boss also licked Gerald once the meeting was over. In fact, before they left, several others had appeared before him, showing great interest in wanting to become part of the Royal Dragon Group.

To top it all off, Gerald also received some cash prizes from those who wanted to please him.

Gerald, however, was in no mood to care about any of it. Instead, he ordered Whistler to handle everything carefully as he thought about his next move.

After tonight's event, the Royal Dragon Group that Gerald founded will finally gain company status in Talgo City. Moreover, the Royal Dragon Group now had a lot of influence as well as control over many territories.

With all that in mind, Gerald knew it was time for them to save Drake.

From what Tyson had told him, none of the many influential groups in the Heavenly City could be looked down upon.

He spoke from experience because he and his brother had previously spent money to build up their strength and influence in the Heavenly City while they were still searching for Gerald. Soon, however, they are defeated by Sven.

It did not help that the Heavenly City was much larger than Talgo City. The entire area was just a complete place that housed many troops and groups.

In fact, the place was so big that Tyson couldn't even estimate how many groups of— - as powerful as Sven— - there was.

Gerald, however, is too worried about Drake to worry about it. He is well aware that the longer they stop, the more dangerous it is for Drake. They simply do not have the luxury of waiting until everything is ready and in place.

Arriving at his conclusion, Gerald then ordered, “Whistler, give my order to the others. We will head to the Heavenly City tomorrow. ”

“Alright, Mr Crawford! I'll start the preparations soon!”
