Their current goal is to get thieves to go to South Street. Once he was there, they would force him into a trap and capture him as soon as possible.

Upon arriving at the site, Gerald noticed that they were only five personnel waiting for the thief on South Street. Aiden was really not kidding when he said that their labor was scarce.

“As previously stated, we have locked Maverick and he will be arriving on South Street in a moment. We will try to stop him from advancing further here. Why are there only three of you? Didn't you say that you managed to get a more capable hand? ” ask the other team leader who is a rather tall woman.

Hearing that, Gerald got straight out of the car. He had remained seated inside before as he was busy observing the surrounding terrain. After all, if he wanted to stop the rapist, then he would have to first check the area for possible escape routes that criminals could use.

While Gerald already had excellent skills, abilities, and confidence, he was extremely cautious because Aiden had mentioned that the villain was a very cunning person.

Adding to the fact that she also did this to help close friends, Gerald wanted to be as careful and meticulous as possible. Another reason why he was this cautious was because Gerald was well aware that he could not yet use his inner strength. If only he could, then he would easily subdue the rapist without much trouble, even if the criminal managed to run a few kilometers away!

"I'm not working. I just came back because I had something to do. I'm also here to help Aiden!” gerald replied with a wry smile on his face.

"…help?" said Maia and Warren simultaneously, this time completely off guard.

With the two of them simultaneously turning to look at Aiden, Maia then asked, "He ... She is the help you invited ...?"
