Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 606

He was so fed up with it that he had already started filling his head with rather extreme ideas.

Giya only attended the meal because her father had persuaded her to leave that day. Thinking back, he wasn't even sure if he should have taken that first step.

“Well, it doesn't really matter. The engagement will happen sooner or later! Let's not talk about it now. Come on, let's just go in!” yunus said as he took her to the hotel.

Meanwhile, Gerald had just entered a private room. Melissa had invited quite a number of people that day and aside from her cousin, Rosalie, most of them were young children who seemed to be about the same age.

Some of them seem to come from Mayberry while others come from other places. The only constant was that they all treated Gerald with great respect and kindness.

This was especially so for Melissa who was constantly serving food to him as she sat beside him.

Melissa even invited Gerald to have fun with them that night, as there was another group of friends who would be present by then.

Although Gerald initially planned to leave after sitting there for a while, not long after they entered the room, Melissa ordered food to be served. As a result, he could not help but stay and continue drinking again with them.

A group of people were rather good at drinking.

As everyone drank and chatted with each other, at some point, one of the guests started to get a little drunk.

That's Melissa's cousin, Rosalie.

“I don't think I can take it anymore.. I'm a little dizzy so I'm going to back up to the car now and take a nap. You guys go ahead and keep drinking, ” said Rosalie.

"Huh? You are a good drinker! Why the car too? There's a room in this hotel. Let me get you one break. I also brought a bottle of soda. Here, drink a little to make yourself more comfortable!” melissa said as she opened the bottle and handed it to Rosalie.

Rosalie just nodded small. He really looks like he can't take it anymore.

As Melissa told a servant to prepare the room, Rosalie could barely stand up properly. It was obvious that he was very bad at drinking.

"Hey Melissa, let me help you take Sister Owens upstairs!" volunteer one of the young men in the room.

While Melissa was beautiful, Rosalie's appearance even exceeded hers. Despite the fact that she was much older, she exuded a special charm.

Coupled with his good disposition, it was almost certain that every man who looked into his eyes would eventually be blown away.

Even though he said that, he clearly seemed to need help. It would be difficult and exhausting for him to bring Rosalie upstairs alone.

He then looked at Gerald before saying, “I believe you, Mr. Crawford. Can you help me bring my cousin upstairs? ”

"Of course," said Gerald while slightly nodding.

Although it was a bit inconvenient for her to do so, she could not simply reject Melissa's plea. He also did not think any evil thoughts so he simply complied.

Finally, the two managed to bring Rosalie to the room on the seventh floor.

With the back of her hand placed on her forehead, Rosalie quickly fell asleep as soon as she got to her bed.

Melissa sighed before saying, “Let her rest for now. Instead, you're pretty good at it, aren't you, Mr Crawford?”

“I'm not too bad at it.”

As he said that, the sound of vomiting could be heard. Rosalie was very vomiting and she looked very unwell.

“Yes God, are you okay cousin? I'm gonna go find a cure to help you realize. Could I trouble you to help look after my cousin for a while, Mr. Crawford's? I'll be right back!" melissa said as she rushed out of the room.

But Gerald, doesn't know how to take care of him.

After vomiting for a while, Rosalie finally fell asleep again in a daze.

Feeling unwise if he remained in the room, he picked up the room access card and stood by the door. Gerald's gonna wait for Melissa to get back there.

Not long after, he heard Rosalie's voice from inside the room. However, his voice showed that he was struggling. It was almost like he was constrained by something.

Gerald did not pay much attention to his voice at first. He thought it was just him getting drunk.

However, the more he listened, the stranger the voices became. There seemed to be other voices coming from inside the room as well.
