Chapter 912

With precise precision, Gerald quickly pierced the weakest point of the six guards. It only took a second before they all fell to the ground simultaneously, spitting out a lot of blood from their mouths and noses.

“...H-yeah…? So...you were able all this time, Sanderson..?” mindy said as he looked wide-eyed and could not believe what he had just witnessed.

Even Stella and Isabelle—who had met some Taekwondo experts before—know that those experts couldn't even compare to that stupid Sanderson! To think that he was this strong!

While everyone in the room was undoubtedly astonished by the turn of events, they simultaneously realized that they now had someone they could definitely rely on.

It didn't take long before Gerald turned his head to look at the crowd before gesturing for them to rush out of the place under his leadership.

Following his orders, they all ran into the backyard.

The moment they got outside, everyone immediately saw the raging flames that were still engulfing the Schuyler family warehouse. Due to their inability to control the flames, the flames began to spread to other parts of the mansion as well.

In other words, the Schuyler family is currently in a great mess, and Gerald knows that this is the best chance they can get to escape safely.

Thanks to Jasmine and the others luring the main bodyguard, the group that escaped barely ran into any problems apart from a few people guarding the main gate. They are, however, naturally taken easily by Gerald.

With that, everyone managed to get out of the mansion! But it is not time to celebrate.

Under Gerald's leadership, the group ran quite far north before finally stopping when several cars parked next to the forest were spotted.

Signalling for Mindy to enter one of the cars, Mindy was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. However, his ease was short-lived when he finally realized something.

“...Wait... Something went wrong. Where's Stella? Didn't you run with Stella before, Isabelle? Why isn't he here?” ask Mindy with a worried tone.

When Isabelle started looking around in panic after hearing that, Gerald came to the conclusion that she must have accidentally lost her way earlier because it was so dark and chaotic.

Where's she?

Closing the door behind Mindy, Gerald then returned to the mansion. To her surprise, Stella never seemed to leave the basement. When he finally found the girl, he crouched down in the corner of the hidden room, sobbing silently.

However, the moment he saw Sanderson, he almost cried out in excitement.

“Sanderson, i.. I tripped earlier and sprained my ankle..” explains Stella while biting her lower lip.

"Hurry up, let me carry you!" gerald replied as he lifted her to his back.

“Fucking god! Have you forgotten what I sound like?” gerald replied with a bitter smile on his face as he shook his head.

After hearing that, it took him a few seconds to realize it, but when he did, his eyes instantly widened.

“...G-Gerald?! …Actually it makes a lot of sense! From the moment I met you, I knew that look felt familiar! Why didn't I realize earlier that you have the same body shape? But wait, didn't something bad happen to you back then?” stella asked, full of questions.

“The story is long. Let's talk about that after we get out safely. Also, keep my identity a secret for now. No one should know that I am in Salford Province. Do you understand?" gerald said as he looked at her.

Upon seeing his firm nod, the two then began to flee.

The next two hours passed very slowly for Jasmine and the others from the vanguard team.

Since they had hit Yael while fleeing earlier, they had dashed south into the mountainous area when Yael ordered his men to chase after them.

Although Yael's subordinates seemed to have lost track of them for the time being, Jasmine's group had still not come out of the forest, literally. After all, they were not even sure how many mountain paths they had taken because they were so focused on avoiding Jael's men earlier.

A moment lost, they finally managed to find their way at the foot of the mountain. However, no one knew where it was headed.

“Where are we, Jasmine…? There is no village in sight! Look, we can't even call because there's no signal here!” Maia.

“My guess is as good as yours. However, having a path to follow is better than nothing. Hopefully we can get to the area soon with the phone signal,” replied Jasmine.

As the group nodded amongst themselves, they were just about to quietly run when suddenly, a distant motorbike's spin sounded!

Not long after, several headlights were seen speeding towards them on the broken road. From what they could have guessed, there were at least fifty cars in the group.

After completely blocking the road, a few black-clothed men got out of the car, seemingly waiting for someone.

"It's all over now!" jasmine said as everyone from the vanguard team felt their hearts beating fast.

Immediately after, the rich-looking person — who seemed to be the leader of that big group — got out of the car and started walking towards Jasmine.

Smiling, she then asked, "Could one of you be Miss Jasmine Fenderson?"
