For some reason, Gerald felt strange when he saw the old man, and under that pressure, he even felt embarrassed and looked down.

"Ha ha ha!" The old man laughed loudly. “It looks like my grandson does understand what he did wrong!”

“Goodies?”

Gerald's dumbfounded. “You..”.

“You haven't greeted me since you got in here. I'm your grandfather, Daryl, you stupid boy!” He laughed while sitting on a marble chair.

“You're my grandfather?! I... I thought you disappeared?”

Gerald had not heard anything about his grandparents since young, and his father had only told him that his grandfather had been missing for more than a decade.

They had been looking for him, but there was no news of him, and Gerald had always thought that his grandfather had died. He never expected that his grandfather was still alive, and he was actually the owner of the Colonel Island Soul Palace!

“You look surprised?” Daryl looked at her happily.

"Yes, right! I'm so surprised, Grandpa!”

Gerald finally understood why he had felt so strange before.

"Have you always been on Colonel Island and established the Soul Palace?" Gerald asked in surprise.

"Yes. I left the Crawford family, and I gave everything to the young Dylan back then. It's been 35 years!”

"Come, Gerald. Sit next to me and let me tell you some stories!” Daryl smiled.

"How much do you know about your grandfather?" ask Daril.

“I only know that you left my father 35 years ago after you two had a big fight. You gave up the position as the family grandmaster and never returned. I tried to ask my father about you, but he doesn't talk much! ”

“It looks like Dylan didn't tell you anything about the sun picture!”

"Sun image?"

"Yes. This is a secret image passed down from our ancestors, and its contents contain incredible knowledge. The Crawford family has always been so powerful and wealthy because we have a sun-drawn guide. But then, I realized that the image of the sun predicted that in 50 years, the Crawford family would be gone forever, and the image of the sun never lied!” Daril.

"Is that why you founded the Soul Palace?" Gerald finally knew more secrets about what had happened.

"Yes. I have done my research, and I found this remote location to build my reputation. I even gathered some strength to protect my family from disposal!”

“Gerald, you are very lucky to have people who help you practice your skills. That is why I am so happy when my people report back to me!”

“Does that mean you know my master, Finnley? Is he one of your people too?” ask Gerald.

Daryl shook his head. “I don't know him. However, I did some research on her background, and I found something that surprised me. My informants are all over the world, and there's nothing I don't know about, but your master, Finnley Quick, gave me a hard time. I believe Finnley Quick isn't even his real name! One thing for sure is that he is a great and powerful master, his skills are much better than mine! ”
