"Spirit!"
As Jasmine had said the night before, a church fair was held in the city the next morning. With everything looking so majestic, it was no wonder why this place was so crowded.
“How live!” mindy said excitedly as he stood in the middle of the crowd.
“Can you be a little more reserved, Mindy?” jasmine said somewhat helplessly.
“Why should I? Today is a fun day! Can't you feel it? Seeing everyone here makes me dizzy once!” mindy replied as Jasmine shook her head.
“It's okay once in a while, isn't Jasmine? Let us take a short walk before heading to the church to pray for our blessings later,” their second aunt said as she turned to look at the young man who had been quietly following them from behind all this time.
"I'm sorry that you have to look at the childish side of our family" the second aunt said with a smile.
In response, Gerald shook his head.
To be honest, even if they forbade Gerald from coming, he would still do so secretly. After all, how could he not when he was well aware that Schuyler was actively eyeing the two sisters.
“...Hey, look there, Jasmine. Isn't that our classmate?” mindy asked suddenly while pointing at some people.
As he said that, their six classmates also noticed them.
Because Mandy and Jasmine are both mysterious girls who remain cold and aloof for a long time, no one in the group was — regardless of gender — who actually dared to take the initiative to welcome them.
However, as Mindy was now waving at them with a smile, they naturally felt the need to walk over. After all, regardless of how far apart they were, the two girls had still been their classmates for many years.
"I didn't expect to see you here!" said a woman—who seems to be the leader of the group—while smiling.
"Indeed! It's time for Jasmine and I to go out for some fun! To be honest I was wondering if we would have met one of our classmates here before. Talk about the devil, I guess! How long have you been here? Have you had fun? ” ask Mindy with a smile.
"Actually, we just arrived!" said another woman in the group.
Hearing what Mindy said, Jasmine nodded before smiling.
Jasmine and Mindy get to know Stella better because she and Gerald had given help to the two girls during the incident half a year ago.
“Also, you may not know this, but even though we never talk much in class, we know all about you!” said Mindy.
“You're Isabelle, right? You are the class monitor right next to us! As for this beauty, your name is Maia, right? We met at the Taekwondo championship back then, remember? If I remember correctly, you were transferred to our university some time ago along with that handsome man, Warren! ”
Hearing that, Maia smiled faintly at Mindy before saying, “Yes, it has been a long time since that happened. We got to know Isabelle a little better after the incident, so on the one hand, the events of the day had its silver lining.”
“Alright, since you are all young people, why don't you go and have some fun together? Your Third Aunt and I will only take a walk if you need us, ” Second Aunt said as she looked at the two girls.
After agreeing with that, Jasmine and Mindy joined their classmates, leaving Gerald who sighed while following them. And here he thought that he would never have to meet those people again. Thinking that 'never' turned out to be only half a year later.
Still, it's clear that they've all changed a bit.
First, Isabelle was not in a hurry like she used to be. Stella herself has gotten a shorter haircut, though she still remains pretty. As for Maia, she seemed to have grown a little more mature, and it further strengthened her beauty.
“Ah, by the way! This is our classmate, Sanderson! Let's make sure to have fun together, okay? ”
Gerald could only nod. It was not that he could refuse the offer.
When Stella, Maia, and Isabelle saw that she was wearing a mask, they felt somewhat uncomfortable walking with her. The fact that he doesn't know how to talk doesn't help the situation.
However, as she comes along with Mindy and Jasmine, the girls take care of themselves, knowing that they are unwise to say bad things about Gerald.
While none of them said anything about him, Maia herself took the extra step of deliberately distancing herself from him.
