“Master. Crawford, the fact that you even managed to enter the Rune Realm at your age is awesome! With that said, I hope you can tell me what rank you are currently in that realm …? ” ask Yeshua.
“To be honest, I'm not too sure about that either. However, I remember one of my subordinates telling me that I needed the Sceolium of the Ringmaster of Obliteration to check my ranking, ” Gerald replied.
“Ah, the Dragon Army always brings Sceolium with us. If you were wondering how it was used to rank a person, it basically detected the contents of one's essential qi. With that information, one would be able to ascertain what rank they really are. Therefore, why don't you try it, Mr. Crawford?” ask Yeshua who almost looks too eager to please Gerald despite having fulfilled all of Gerald's previous requests.
Following Gerald's approval, Yeshua then walked to the bookcase— in his office— before turning on the hidden switch behind it. A second later, a mechanism sounded 'clattering' as the bookshelf slowly opened.
“Please put both your hands on it, Mr. Crawford's. After that, I want you to direct your essential Qi into the stone. Once that is done, we will be able to know your current specific rating!” obviously Yeshua was honestly curious as well.
"Alright," answered Gerald who was just as excited to finally find out how powerful he really was.
After doing what is ordered, real changes can be seen in Sceolium. Shortly, the results were revealed…
“...You... You have already entered the Third Level Rune Realm...!” cry Yeshua whose mouth is now gaping in shock.
'By God! He's only in his twenties, isn't he?! What miracle!' Yeshua thought to himself.
To be honest, Yeshua was skeptical when the leader of the Third team told him that Gerald had successfully ascended to the Rune Realm. Now, however, he had no doubts about it.
No wonder Gerald had almost no trouble killing those gentlemen!
"I keep hearing people talk about this 'Rune Realm... How much do you know about him, Team Leader Lock?" ask Gerald.
“...Well, from what I heard, the only ones who managed to enter that realm were the ones who had lived for over a thousand years! Moreover, few have managed to enter the Rune Realm, and you are now among those people, Mr Crawford!” yeshua answered, filled with more admiration than ever.
Upon hearing that, Gerald frowned as he sank into his thoughts. If what Yeshua said was true, then does that mean Finnley—his lord—and his grandfather has entered the Rune Realm? If that really happened, then that would explain a lot of things.
After all, while Gerald already knew that Finnley had a terrible power—which Gerald couldn't even measure at that time—, was, he now realized that he did not doubt his grandfather's true strength when they were still together. Being able to hide his true strength so perfectly was proof that his grandfather might be in the same league as Finnley.
Moreover, his grandfather had managed to defeat that giant anaconda with great ease. With that in mind, Gerald was now quite certain that his grandfather had to enter the Rune Realm to be able to do just that.
Gerald had been aware of how powerful his true strength was for quite some time now, although the only way of measuring it was through the fact that the masters he met were all nothing more than ants to him.
While he now knew that he had entered the third rank of the Rune Realm, he was careful to remind himself that he might not be far from the strongest in the world.
After all, he still had no idea how powerful Finnley, Daryl, and the Portal of the King of Judgment were.
With that thought, he was certain that the Rune Realm was not the highest point of training…
Fast forward to seven days later, Master Ghost finally came out of the secret room, seemingly having found a great discovery.
