Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 1156

Seeing how weak Chester's apology was, Gerald then gently patted him on the shoulder before saying, “It's okay.. After all, we've already.

After saying that, Gerald was silent for a moment, completely stunned by what he saw now.

Not hearing anything from Gerald for a while, Chester then looked up as well. His eyes widened as he did so, and he found his mouth gaping as he stared at the extremely majestic-looking palace that lay before them.

The palace looked suitable for a dragon, and in the middle of its structure, there was an enormous tall platform. What surprised Gerald the most, however, was the fact that hovering about twenty feet above the platform, was a crystal coffin!

'This is another immortal coffin!' Gerald thought to himself in his confusion.

So that's true... The woman in white really had been buried inside the immortal coffin here after being separated from the gods!

Still, Gerald couldn't help but wonder why the old beggar had deliberately put them so far away from each other ... What was the old man's intention of forbidding the two to meet for good?

As Gerald was thinking hard, the corner of his eye saw Chester pointing to the murals around him as he said, “...There are murals everywhere, sir. They seem to describe everything that has happened that eventually led to all this.. ”.

After glancing once more at the woman in white clothes of the immortal coffin, Gerald turned to look at the mural together with Chester.

Similar to the underground palace in the desert, this place was also filled with murals.

Reading a glimpse of the images, Gerald confirmed that the mural mostly details the story of the woman in white who was buried. More specifically, they talked about the burial process and the origin of the body of the woman in white clothes. In other words, most of the things Gerald was already aware of.

Among the murals, however, occasional abstract words can be found. Gerald, for example, did not know what they meant. After all, it was very different from the words he had seen in the mural earlier.

Suddenly, he heard Chester muttering, “...Hmm? Cave language?”

Turning to look at Chester, Gerald noticed that he was also staring at some abstract words that had been engraved on another wall.

"Grotto language?" gerald asked as he went over to Chester's side.

“Indeed, Sir. You see, the language was used exclusively by ancient tribes who were cave dwellers. My family owned a collection of animal skins belonging to the cave dwellers, and my grandmother had forced me to learn the meaning of some of their words and characters when I was much younger…” clear Chester.

Raising an eyebrow, Gerald then replied, “Does that mean you can read and understand the language?”

Reading a glimpse of those words, Chester then scratched the back of his head as he said, “...At most, I felt that I would only be able to understand a little more than half of it. The rest was mostly a guess.”.

Hearing that, Chester immediately began to try to decipher the words very seriously.

It was about ten minutes later when he said, "... The text seems to speak of some mysterious prophecy ... It also keeps repeating a few words ..."

After saying that, Chester then began pointing at a few words, pointing his finger along each word as he explained what each one meant.

“The ever-repeating amulet says, 'Two petals bloom and each petal represents the world. The answer you are looking for is in one of them!'”

“Two petals bloom and each petal represents the world.. That's what it actually says?” ask Gerald for confirmation.

“True, Sir!” chester replied while nodding straight away.

The mysterious old woman said the exact same thing to him back then.Talking about the old woman, Gerald had previously used his mind to search around her, however he could not feel the presence of the old woman at all.

'Could he leave when we pass out …? But it doesn't make any sense! With such a strong current out there, even I can't fight him, let alone him!'

However, Gerald quickly dismissed that thought. It was not the main thing he should focus on right now …

Back to what Chester told him. Each petal represents a world. While Gerald is sure for sure that it refers to Annie the Dead, he doesn't know where to begin to understand the text.

Slowly frowning, Gerald then asked, “Is there anything else? Also, which part of it makes you feel like a prophecy?”

“Well, the rest of the words state that a person will appear after ten thousand years and bring a fairy away to be reunited with her lover after being separated during that period of time, the person who brings them back together will also be able to find the answer. Even so, the answer may look far away but also very close at the same time.”.

As Chester said, while he could distinguish most words, he still needed a lot of effort to translate them correctly.

After a short pause, he then continued, “...Because he has...the key to carry away the eternal coffin...He is the only one who can actually open the eternal coffin!”

“A key?”

"Yes. Or at least something very similar to a lock!” answer Chester.

After thinking about it for a while, Gerald then said, “...Could it be that it refers to this.?”.
