Realizing that Gerald was deliberately ignoring her was the trigger for her anger.

'Who do you think you are to just ignore me?' Maia thought to herself.

"What do you want?"

Knowing that he has mixed feelings towards Maia, Gerald finds that reason enough for him to ignore her early. Moreover, he understood why he would be frustrated to see her, now that she was clearly richer than him.

He just couldn't be bothered by it.

“So what if you're a little rich now? Such a good reason for you to ignore me! Anyway, I just want to know where you got all that money from,” Maia asked as she looked straight into Gerald's eyes.

"Sorry, personal information," Gerald replied coldly.

"Personal? Huh! You just got a little more money, big deal! That still doesn't change the fact that you were a poor person in the past! I'll be honest with you, Gerald! You're the newest, you understand? And the rookies are famous as arrogant bastards like you! Unlike Jamier and the others, you definitely do not have maturity and stability!” grunts Maia, obviously not to lose.

"Whatever you say. By the way, Marven and I are planning on finding a great place to start our new company. If nothing else, we'll go now!” said Gerald, shaking his head with a grim smile.

After all it wasn't his first rodeo to be insulted like this.

'Like his humiliation means nothing to me. There's no point in trying to explain something to someone like him, ' Gerald thought to himself.

"…Company? You start a new company?” ask Maia.

It's sad for him to see Gerald come forward in life. Even he wasn't sure why he felt this way, he just did it.

"Yes! Dana Gerald so we can start a travel agency together!” marven added rather excitedly as he followed Gerald to campus.

As Marven's grandmother's health has been deteriorating lately and her relationship with Raquel has also fallen apart, Marven is honestly very depressed. However, when Gerald intervenes to help him, Marven knows that he will soon be able to get through his tough times.

He was very grateful to Gerald after receiving an offer to start the company together. While he had seen Gerald as a close friend before, he now treated Gerald as if he were his biological brother.

As the two went further, Warren looked extremely annoyed. "What kind of luck does he have?"

"Who knows? Still, even if he opened the company, he would be the only one to fund it!” Maia.

"You have that right. Huh! Only you wait and see. He would definitely use all that money in the end. What else would he have? ” replied Warren, his tone sour.

“. The school held a Taekwondo competition, remember? Of all the events in school, this one caught my attention the most!” added Warren.

“Oh yes, before you went to the police academy, you used to represent the seniors, right? Since you are the Taekwondo champion of Sunnydale, you can definitely give your juniors some pointers after watching the competition!”

The group of five then entered the campus as well, casually chatting amongst themselves.

Meanwhile, Gerald and Marven have just signed their presence in the classroom. Seeing that they only had an ideology class that morning, they decided to leave.

As they climb down the stairs, Gerald thinks about why he was so eager to help Marven. It might have something to do with how much he sees himself at Marven. What's more, the two have gotten closer in recent days, and Gerald now sees him as a brother as well.

Marven was also a very devoted person, and Gerald was pleased with how much Marven loved his parents and grandparents. Knowing how good someone Marven is, Gerald gladly supports him leading to his idea to form a partnership for Marven's new travel agency.

Moreover, due to most of the monetary issues, it was not even a big deal for Gerald. He had the means to help, so it was right to do for his brother.

Regardless, the first big step they must take is to establish where the company will be located.
