Haven was really surprised to see him there. She naturally remembered him because he was a pretty attractive man when they first met on the train.

In his disbelief, he opened the main door in his attempt to ascertain whether he had actually seen her. However, he could only catch a glimpse of 'Gerald's back as he got into the car before his father closed the door behind him.

“Gerald!” haven shouted as the cars sped on, unable to hear her cries.

While scratching the back of his head, he wondered if it was really just his imagination. After all, why was he in his house? Moreover, his father would definitely not personally open the car door for a person like him!

"Is something wrong, Haven?" xareni asked as she and Quentin walked towards her.

"You'll never guess who I saw, brother!"

"Who?"

"I saw Gerald!"

"And who is this, Gerald?" asked Xareni with a slight frown.

“Have you forgotten? He's the guy we met in the car!”

“That disgusting guy? You still talking to him? Why is he here?” quintin Scorn.

"You may have seen it wrong, Haven... After all, if even Quintin was unaware of this, then Gerald couldn't possibly enter our house inevitably!" added Xareni while shaking her head.

Although Xareni constantly advises Haven to be more aware of her identity, the girl never listens. Rather than hanging out more with other wealthy heirs like Warners and Scotts, Haven prefers to talk to ordinary people.

“It's okay if none of you choose not to trust me. However, I know for a fact that dad is holding the door for her, or at least someone similar to her! I just have to know the truth! I'm going after them now to ask dad how he got to know Gerald!” said Haven somewhat excitedly as he quickly ran away.

“I asked dad why we had to stay indoors all the time now and he finally gave me the truth. The story is long but for now, know that we can't let Haven escape alone! We must get him back before he faces danger!” xareni replied as she and Quentin immediately started chasing after Haven.

Meanwhile, darkness slowly penetrated the sky as night approached.

A group of people stood in front of a single man in front of Lake Benril located on the outskirts of Logan Province.

“You really are Lovewell, Zander! To think that you actually gathered a group of people to take me down! I'm the only Damian Wake! You're ridiculous for thinking you even have a chance! ” says the only man—standing opposite the group Zander—who is currently supporting his entire body weight with just one hand.

Damian looked to be in his mid-thirties and his eyes reflected his incredible bloodlust. A clear scar was also visible on his unshaved face, and he generally looked unfriendly as a person.

“I'll make sure you'll pay the price for killing two of our family's children in the past month, Damian! You know very well why your family deserves to be dumped! Don't you remember all the dirty deeds you've done?” shout Zander.

“You stupid bastard! Let's see how you'll even kill us all! ” roared Theo as he immediately attacked the arrogant man.

While Theo was strong and fierce, he was nowhere near Damian's skill level.

Eventually, Damian grew tired of blocking Theo's attack and launched a sudden blow at him! Caught off guard, Theo knew he was too late to block or dodge the incoming attack.
