It was clear that Xara clearly had more strength compared to Jasmine's father back then.
Even if Xara's assets were distributed evenly among the affiliated families now, it wouldn't be as simple as a family that could gain a common foothold with Fenderson again.

“You can all keep dreaming..” replied Jasmine angrily.

Jasmine simply nodded before saying, “Grandfather has already told me to keep an eye on the Schuyler family after the birthday banquet is over. Anyway, Schuyler has been conspiring against us for years now.”.
After pausing to see Gerald, he then continued, “They are getting bolder year after year. To think that he will really make a fuss during grandpa's birthday banquet! No wonder he dared to press charges when he came looking for grandfather this morning! ”
"Huh? What kind of demands? Oh wait, that must be your proposal and Yael to get married, right?” ask Mindy.
In response, Jasmine gave a simple nod.
“I... Well..He received a rejection once he found out that I was bound to a marriage contract that had been made since I was a child!” jasmine replied in a soft voice as her face started to turn a little red.

"Only! Forget about this for now! I don't want to talk about this anymore!” jasmine replied while shaking her head.
To take his mind off things, he focused on the scene that was happening between Noah and his grandfather.

As long as you are willing to give us the compensation we deserve, we will definitely continue to follow Fenderson wholeheartedly in the future. After all, there is no need for me to expose everything here, right? ” said Noah while sneering.
Bryson immediately fused his brows tightly upon hearing that.
Bryson finally understands why Noah suddenly changes character when Noah tells him that he has managed to find Xara's daughter. Thinking that Bryson initially thought that Noah had finally opened a new leaf!
It's all just part of the grand scheme!
Bryson is now in this mess because he has been deceived by Bryson's deceit. He had been careless because of his love for his daughter.
However, in the end, the older a person is, the wiser he tends to be. Bryson has no qualms about taking extra precautions and security if he has to deal with such a situation.
