As the Master of the Desert had said before, the monster was almost bulletproof due to its extremely hard skin.

"What?!" yelled Wynn, dumbfounded.

Although the bullet did not injure him, the beast was furious at Wynn's attack! Rushing towards him, the beast then stood up and grabbed Wynn's collar before throwing him into the air!

"How strong!" Professor Yale stuttered that turned pale from fear as he led his research group backwards.

With Wynn now out of the way, the beast turned to face Gerald again, its main target from the start. Just by looking at it, he could already feel how powerful and ruthless Gerald was.

As he rushed towards her, Gerald sent her flying back with a powerful kick! Although the beast had thick skin, Gerald was still a semi-great master. In other words, there was no way it could handle Gerald's inner strength. Falling to the ground, Capra Nanny then let out a terrifying cry.

Now feeling much more anxious, the beast began clawing at the sand with all four of its limbs.

At that time, Giya—yang stayed with Meredith instead of running away with the others— nervously shouted, “K-sister! Please careful!"

Hearing his voice as well, the beast suddenly turned to look at Giya. In a second, the beast seemed to make up his mind as he took out a handful of sand and threw it straight at Gerald!

While Gerald dodged the attack, the beast ran towards Giya! The next thing Giya knew, Capra Nanny was already standing in front of her!

Gerald really didn't expect the beast to be this smart. Thinking that he had manipulated her into thinking that he would attack her when in fact, he would chase after Giya!

By the time Gerald realizes all this, both Giya and Meredith have been captured by the beast!

Seeing that, Gerald dashed towards Capra Nanny before throwing an extremely fast black object directly into his chest! However, the beast did not look too affected and hurriedly ran away, kidnapping Giya and Meredith in the process.

“Giya!” gerald shouted, feeling his heart clench as he watched the beast escape into the darkness of the night.

From what he knew, the beast was extremely bloodthirsty. Is there any chance that Giya and Meredith will survive after falling into his hands…?

“A-what should we do? Giya and Meredith have been taken away!” some researchers shouted nervously.

“This me answer. Do you know where the beast's nest is? Or a place she frequents?” ask Gerald coldly.

“A-I'm not too sure... What do you want to do? Please remember that you were the one who first made Capra Nanny angry! As soon as he got angry, his intent to kill increased drastically! ” replied Mr Desert Desert?

“Kill, you say? Then, I will kill you too!”

“Please don't act rashly, young man! Calm yourself!" yelled Professor Yale, trying to calm Gerald down.

After which, he turned to face the Master of the Desert before saying, “Master of the Desert, you saw how he fought against the beast before. He clearly had the ability to face the beast and potentially kill it! Moreover, the Capra Nanny now had two living humans in her grasp! We can't just let them die! So please... Please be compassionate and tell us where the beast nest is! Otherwise, there really would be no chance for those girls to be saved!”

“...I can tell you where it is.. But first, please tell him to lower me!” replied the Master of the Desert who was currently more afraid of Gerald who looked extremely angry.

Hearing that, Gerald frowned before throwing him to the ground.

Afterwards, the Master of the Desert cleaned the sand from his clothes before saying, “...Many people say that you should not go to the ancient well located inside Thousand Sand Ridge. After all, anyone heading there would definitely be eaten alive by the Capra Nanny! Because of that correlation, I assume that's where the nest is! Despite the warnings not to go there, no one really knows where it is! No one can be sure where it is because no one who enters has ever made it out alive!”

“Thousand Sand Ridge said..?” muttered Gerald slowly.

Looking at his watch, he then turned around to find the Big Dipper constellation in the night sky. As soon as he understood, Gerald shouted, "I know where it is!"

With that, Gerald immediately started running in a certain direction.

Since Thousand Sand Ridge had been marked on the map that the mysterious man had sent him, Gerald had no trouble finding where it was located.

As he ran, the members of the research team started shouting, "Brother, wait for us!"

After seeing how strong he was, they knew that sticking with him would be their safest option. They also followed him because it was too frightening to remain in their current position.

With all of them thinking more or less the same thing, they all started chasing after Gerald.
