Invisible Rich (The Invisible Rich Man 2)
Chapter 936

“Hmm? A backpacker? Boy, if you know what's good for you, leave this example. Otherwise, I'll just waste a bullet for you!” leopold said while pointing a gun right next to Gerald's head.

However, in response, Gerald simply turned to look directly into Leopold's eyes.

"What do you see, boy?" leopold was furious.

“You know, even though I've been hanging around for quite a while now, I have to say that no one dared to put a gun directly to my forehead before!” gerald replied with a laugh.

“Death request? Be my guest!” roar Leopold as his finger moved to pull the trigger.

However, the next thing he knew, a metallic clang echoed throughout the cave.

It took Leopold a second to realize that the gun was no longer in his hands, and it was at that moment that he knew he had screwed up.

As cold sweat began to trickle down Leopold's forehead, everyone—including Whistler and his men— was so shocked that they did not even dare to breathe.

After all, everyone had seen that happen. In the split second before the trigger was pulled, Gerald had flicked the branch so precisely that the tip of the Leopold gun jammed!

As if the feat wasn't extraordinary enough, the laws of physics don't seem to apply to Gerald at all because the branch didn't just pierce the gun, it said, it actually stuck itself at least an inch into the sturdy cave wall!

Leopold felt a hint of blood running down his cheeks as he stared wide-eyed at his gun which was now hanging loosely like an onion ring on a kebab stick.

By God! What kind of strength and speed is that?!

If Gerald had just pointed that twig at his throat or chest, he would have just died!

“I-excellent!” Leopold stuttered as he gulped with difficulty.

“Because I will spend the night here, please choose how you want this to go. You can go out and fight me now, or leave us alone. What will happen?” ask Gerald while biting his grill rabbit.

Squinting his eyes in fear, Leopold immediately shouted, "We're going to retreat!"

"Retreat I said!" raung Leopold while waving his hand, gesturing for his men to evacuate immediately.

“There are more than a dozen of us here, Don Leopold! Why are we backing down?” ask one of his subordinates immediately after coming out of the cave.

"Ha ha ha! I'm assuming you've never heard of the case that befell Hansel's men! Colour me in surprise as the news has circulated widely around the Heavenly City! After all, dozens of his men were killed in one night when all they were after were just three people! ” reply Leopold.

"What's? Tens of? And none of them made it out alive?”

"You heard me! And it wasn't even the most frightening thing about the incident! Upon investigation, it was discovered that they were all killed with the same weapon even before they could pull the trigger to their weapons! And guess what, the weapon in question is a tree branch! Do you see where I'm going with this? If dozens of gunmen can't face a single attacker holding a tree branch, what makes you think our group will make it out alive if we don't retreat?” clearly Leopold, his forehead was still covered in cold sweat.

Now understanding where Leopold came from, his subordinates immediately began to accelerate their steps away from the area.

After all, Hansel was a huge player so powerful that his men were definitely not small fries. However, to think that they were all killed by one person, and with only one tree branch!

Judging from the youth's chosen strength, skills, and weapons from before, all of them could only wonder if he was the one responsible for killing all of Hansel's men.

Back inside the cave, Whistler stood up after some difficulty before saying, “I really had no idea that such a strong and talented person could even exist on this planet! I'm using Whistler Sankey! Thank you for saving our lives, Mister!” whistler said, his voice filled with respect and gratitude.

Seeing that, his other men began to do the same as well.

“You're all too polite. It was just a coincidence that I happened to save your life. After all, what happened before was just self-defense, ” Gerald replied as he shook his head.

“So... By the way, Sir. You mentioned earlier that my wounds should not be bandaged now. Why it?” ask Whistler.

Hearing that, Gerald looked at the injured man.

He honestly only saved them because he had seen how much those people valued their friendship. If they only worked as hired individuals who didn't think too highly of their brothers and only prioritized defeating the enemy forces, Gerald wouldn't even bother to interfere with Leopold's attack in the first place.

Shaking his head, Gerald then said, “. I'll get that bullet out of you first before we continue the conversation.”.
