"Gerald!" shout Vincy.

Gerald was surprised to hear his name called. Turning around, he saw Vincy and Lennard.

Gerald had never really spoken to the two of them outside of the competition, so he was not too close to the two of them. But between the two, Gerald clearly knows Vicky better. After all, Lennard came from a wealthy family thus giving him less reason to talk to Gerald back then. Lennard was closer to Maia and the others.

Gerald then walked towards them with a shocked expression on his face before saying, “Vincy! Lennard!”

Even though he didn't know them very well, they were still classmates. That was the only reason why he spoke to them in such a friendly manner.

Lennard only watched him briefly from head to toe before reluctantly nodding in response to Gerald's greeting.

Vicky on the other hand, jumped in front of Gerald before patting him on the shoulder.

“Hei, Gerald! It's long! You're barely even related to us anymore! ”

In the past, Gerald and Vincy were partners every time they entered the competition. Since the two usually managed to get a decent rating together, Gerald began to feel a little nostalgic now, now that they had met again after such a long time.

"I know? It's been a long time!” answer Gerald.

“Omong by the way, is the duo there your boyfriend and his family members? By the way, she looks so pretty! You know, Lennard can pick you up wherever you want to go!” said Viny.

“Actually, I have to meet someone later!” lennard added upon hearing Vince's suggestion.

Vince only smiled awkwardly after hearing his answer and quickly changed the subject.

“Oh, by the way, you two may not know it yet, but Lennard and I are getting married! I've been pregnant for about three months now! ”

"Oh wow! Congratulations!" maia said, looking surprised by the revelation. He then turned to look at Gerald as if he was comparing him to Lennard.

“...Hey, I just noticed it, but look at all the cars there!” jamier said suddenly while pointing to a corner.

Everyone was just as surprised.

“Say, didn't that first car belong to Barry Zatyr? Famous businessman in our city?” asked Lennard who seemed to recognize the model of the car.

“I believe so! It was so strange to see a man like him waiting to pick someone up. I remember going to business events with my father when I was young. Back then, I accidentally bumped into him and he patted my head, you know? ” said Jamier rather proud.

“I think I'll try to go there and greet him! One of the managers waiting with him now knows my father!” jamier said as he walked closer.

His actions surprised and impressed everyone there.

After walking up to the manager and talking for a while, Jamier finally returned.

“How was the result?” ask Warren.

“I just greeted him with a simple greeting. He told me they were here to pick up the big boss so he didn't have time to talk to me. Mr. Zartyr also glanced at me, but I dare not speak to him!”

While everyone was talking excitedly, Gerald couldn't help but feel awkward standing there. Therefore, he tells Vince that he will leave before exiting the scene.

Vincy didn't try to stop him because she knew how awkward he was just being there.

"It's weird, why Mr. Crawford hasn't come yet?" barry said as he checked the time nervously, beads of sweat running down his forehead.

Zack doesn't arrange for Barry to pick up Gerald because he specifically told him not to arrange something big for him. Therefore, Zack only tells Barry that Gerald is coming today, and he just needs to wait for his call.

While Zack is earnest with every word he says, Barry simply doesn't dare to ignore the formal welcome, which explains why he's still waiting for Gerald there. However, Gerald had not come yet despite a long wait.

Meanwhile, Gerald and his own group have just found a hotel for the night. After a moment of calm, Gerald's phone started ringing.
