Gerald's main purpose of attending the event was simply to intimidate them.

Moments after getting into his car, he saw someone tailing him.

Looking into his rearview mirror, he realized who was in the car, so he did not notice the vehicle any further.

As soon as he arrived at the hotel entrance, Gerald was just about to enter when the voice of a girl called out to him.

"Are you planning to ignore me forever, Gerald ?!"

Of course, the person in the car was Giya.

“There is no more reason for us to maintain our relationship. Jonah should no longer bother you, so isn't that good enough?” answer Gerald.

“Can't we be friends again?” answer Giya.

He was not satisfied with the way Gerald was treating him at the moment.

She blames herself for the whole situation back then, which is why she tells him that she can make one request that she will then try to fulfill.
