“You call that poison? I used it as a kind of medicine to supplement my health more than half a year ago! Are you really just trying to use it to poison me? ”

After soaking his body so much in all sorts of medicinal herbs and other ingredients — that Finnley had given him — back then, Gerald was already immune to certain poisons. It was clear that the poison they were trying to use on him was one of them.

To be honest, Gerald already knew that the tea— that Haven served earlier— had been poisoned, long before he took a sip. After all, he was an expert in pharmacology.

He was also well aware back then that Haven would never try to hurt him. With that in mind, he knew that it must be one of the Lovewells who wanted to hurt him. But who?

Wanting to find out, Gerald pretended to faint in order to wait for the real culprit to appear.

“You brat! Do you know how hard the Moldells have been trying to find you all this time? Even though we failed to poison you, don't think you'll be able to escape so easily! jeered Yaster.

Caleb, on the other hand, immediately stood up and smiled while holding his chest as he realized who was speaking.

“S-Master! You're doing fine! Absolutely awesome news!”

“I, Mr Merrett! Also, I appreciate that you defended me earlier! ”

In fact, Gerald had planned to test Caleb if he was truly loyal to him sometime after all this was done. Now that he has personally witnessed Caleb risking his own life to save her, Gerald knows that no further testing is needed.

Touched by his actions, Gerald instantly turned Yaster's attention to him upon seeing how close Caleb was to death.

“There is no need to speak to this boy again, Mr Moldell! Allow me to take care of her once and for all! ” said one of Yaster's young subordinates while smiling contemptuously before rushing towards Gerald.

However, when he was just a step away from Gerald, Gerald quickly extended his hand and grabbed his face! Immediately after, the man's limbs froze as his entire body began twitching uncontrollably.

All it takes is tilting Gerald's wrist to make a loud 'crack' sound from his subordinate's neck.

With that, Gerald threw the lifeless body forward the remaining seven Moldells who were now wide-eyed in shock.

They deserve to be astonished because the younger generation of the Moldell family all have excellent strength and ability. Even so, Gerald had ended the man's life so easily. It was almost as if the subordinate was just a sheep to Gerald. A sheep that is unable to defend itself that can only tremble when attacked.

“You... You bad boy! I would have never imagined that you would become so powerful after just one year! furious Yaster, his eyes were still wide open.

Waving his hand immediately after, he then ordered, "Gather together and arrest him!"

Hearing that, the remaining six Moldells complied and dashed towards Gerald!

Suddenly, the air in the room suddenly felt much colder than it should have been. Even the subordinates could not help but slow down a little as they felt the chill running down their backs.

Gerald is now ready to fight.

These people were part of a family that had pushed him into a desperate situation before. The family that forced him out of his own home. The family that had truly humiliated him was as if he was just a deprived dog that only deserved to be treated harshly.

What's more, their families are still trying to rob Crawford's assets and property!

An overwhelming bloodlust filled his heart as he made his first move!

With his great skill and desire for revenge, Gerald is now practically invincible. As a result, the six men who were currently trying to attack Gerald were naturally not comparable to him.

One by one, the men approached him and immediately died without even getting a single chance to land an attack on him.

As blood splattered all over the room, Yaster's eyelids twitched violently as she said, “….S-very strong..”.

Seeing that, Xareni was now so frightened that she shouted while covering her mouth before rushing to the corner of the room to hide.

As for the other Lovewells, none of them even dared to breathe as they stared at Gerald, completely paralyzed in fear.

Zayn, however, was well aware that he was the one who played the biggest role in the decision to call the Moldells. As a result, he immediately stepped forward and, in an apologetic tone, he said, “...Hahaha... Ah... Um.. So.. Y-You know, Mr. Crawford, the Moldell family forced us to do this..”.
