"What are you doing ?! Helping out! Help m-“
Before Xavia could shout any further, Quillan covered her mouth with a white towel! Although he wriggled hard to break away from his grasp, Xavia slowly felt his gaze blur. Soon, he was no longer fighting.
At the same time, Gerald's ears suddenly twitched in his deep sleep. Still inside the dungeon, he slowly opened his eyes.
As he did so, his eyes briefly glittered fluorescent green before returning to normal a few seconds later.
It shocked Gerald, to say the least, to learn that he can now see even the tiniest details inside the dungeon cell, despite the fact that it is almost pitch black there.
His greatly improved hearing ability was also a pleasant surprise. As long as he wanted to, he now seemed to be able to hear something clearly, even if it was far away!
Sitting down, Gerald slowly got up before jumping in place to make his muscles move.
After looking at his skin, he realized that there were some traces of black stains coming out of it. From what he could guess, it was the dirt that had been cleared from his body.
'I don't think they call it holy blood for no reason... Not only has it stabilized my heart and temperament, but now I feel stronger than ever!' Gerald thought to himself, very excited.
It was not even an exaggeration at this point to assume that his inner strength had now doubled from three days ago.
'And here I plan to visit the Moldell family and deal with them once and for all after drinking the holy blood... Thinking that they really saved me from trouble by taking me straight to their house!' Gerald thought inwardly while sneering.
Oh right, he still has to save Xavia!
Although Gerald had been largely motionless in the past three days, his mind was far from fainting. In fact, he was well aware of everything that was happening around him during that period of time. That was the reason why he heard Xavia's cry for help earlier.
Thinking of Xavia, she recalled everything she had told her that night. Gerald knew he would only lie to himself if he claimed that his words did not touch him at all.
Adding to the fact that he had risked his life only to visit her in the basement with his actions a year ago that finally saved his life, Gerald was well aware of how difficult it was now for him to almost pay for his kindness.
Knitting his brows slightly, he knew the thought could wait. For now, he must save Xavia first!
Gazing briefly at the iron gate in front of him, Gerald put a hand on the gate and pulled it.
A loud crumbling sound followed as the surrounding wall supporting the gate collapsed with it! Seemingly unaffected by his inhuman strength, Gerald walked out just in time to catch someone running into the basement.
The man holding the bowl of porridge was naturally none other than Luis.
“M-Men! Men! Log in here!” luis shouted as he immediately tried to run out of the dungeon to get help.
Luis is one of the people who saw the massacre that Gerald left at the Lovewell residence. Precisely because of that, she now had an innate fear of him. Plus the fact that he was well aware of how weak he was, there was no way he would stay inside Gerald's presence any longer than he needed!
However, before he could even get far from where he once stood, the disgusting sound of torn flesh could be heard.
Luis needed a second to realize what had just happened. Fortunately, he was already dead by the time his body split in two.
Climbing the stairs, Gerald casually walked past the corpse as he slowly walked out of the dungeon. His ears churned as he tried to pinpoint exactly which way Xavia was.
From what he could hear, several members of the Moldell family were currently in the backyard. There were also some people in the guest room area.
Walking together while constantly trying to find Xavia, he quickly and efficiently dealt with whoever hit him.
When he finally found it not long after, he stood by his door before kicking it open!
Gerald was immediately greeted with the sight of Quillan tearing off Xavia's clothes.
Shocked to hear the door open, Quillan immediately turned to look at the mud-covered visitor who looked like he had just crawled out of the earth.
"W-who are you?" quillan asked, clearly confused on how to record the situation.
Although the current Xavia was still very weak, he could easily tell who the person at the door was.
“...G-Gerald..fast...Please hurry and save me....!” shout Xavia.
Stunned, Quillan then said, “...Gerald? She... She ran away?!”
Inexpressible fear, Quillan then ran to the corner of the room, her eyes alternating between Gerald and the exit. Before Quillan could even begin planning her escape, Gerald was already standing in front of her!
"Hmm…?" gerald replied as he lifted the frightened man's neck.
