“Really! I really didn't expect to see you again!” gerald replied with a nod.

The woman in question, was none other than Alice.

He initially thought that he would never see her again after the incident at the Fenderson family home. To think that he would meet her again so soon!

Gerald still remembered what Alice had told him that night, and to be honest he still felt bad about it. Had he not met her, she could have lived a much better life now.

"Are you okay?" ask Gerald.

“I... I'm fine! I'm just a loser now, Gerald.. Do you want to beat me up too? After all, I am just a vain girl who loves money and is willing to do anything for it! I'm not shameless! Just leave me!” alice replied between her sobs as she started crawling away.

“Why do you have to do this, Alice..” said Gerald while shaking his head resignedly. He really couldn't bear to see her like this.

“Just ignore me, Gerald.. I don't deserve your attention after treating you like that back then!” alice replied while sitting on the ground and crying.

Gerald was well aware that there was no way he could sleep well tonight if he left her in her current state.

“...I'll give you a room for tonight. It's already quite late and you definitely look like you need a break. Come now,” said Gerald while supporting Alice to her feet and began to lead her to the nearest hotel.

Before entering the hotel, he turned to look around and gestured at his subordinates. Understanding his non-verbal orders clearly, they immediately arranged for the ship from before to wait for his return.

After reserving the room and making sure he got there safely, Gerald was about to leave when Alice suddenly wrapped her hands around him tightly!

"Just rest, I really need to go now!" said Gerald.

“Please don't go, Gerald! I beg you. I. I have many things I want to tell you. I was wrong before! Even after all this time, the one who has always been good to me is still you! i... I know I do not deserve you.. But can you... have mercy and accompany me…? Just a minute!” alice replied, refusing to let go of her embrace.

While it is true that Alice possesses the allure of a goddess who can make any man miss her, her miserable condition exceeds all her earthly desires.

Since there was red wine in the room, Alice picked up a bottle and poured two glasses of wine for Gerald and herself.

“Drink with me, Gerald. Once we're done, I won't bother you anymore in the future! I'm now well aware of how stupid I was in the past, but that's because I don't know about your true identity! Anyway, please pamper me for a while and just have a drink with me! You need not be afraid, I will keep my promise that I will not bother you after this!” said Alice.

"…good. But I won't drink much. I will leave after one drink because my subordinates are still waiting for me!” gerald said as he took the wine glass from his hand.

Alice then began to talk about her life. The main reason he was currently in such a miserable state was because he was living alone and away from home.

Being Alice's former classmate, Gerald knew she would definitely feel bad later if she didn't take the time at least to advise him. She is also Naomi's best friend.

By the time the two finished, Gerald had already drunk three glasses of wine in a row. Seeing how drunk Alice was, Gerald immediately stopped her from getting more wine.

Not long after that Gerald finally fainted in bed.
