"Wait a minute!"
Suddenly, said Xara.
“Gerald, I'm so disgusting now. Do you think I'd scare Queta if I went there unannounced to meet her? After all, I've never been by his side after all these years. I even left it. Will he hate me? Would he hate to see such a ugly mother?”
Xara's fear was clearly visible in her voice.
“She will definitely refuse to acknowledge me as her mother because I am a cruel and ugly woman!
“In addition, this is too sudden. Will Queta be able to accept it?”
Xara touched his face as he spoke.
Gerald scratched his head. “If I told Queta that you are her mother, she would definitely be very excited. I guess you don't know her very well but, she's a very nice young lady! ”
“It won't work. Gerald, how's this? Just make some arrangements for me to go and be a nanny for Queta. I know there's a chance she'll hate me as her nanny, but I just want to do something for Queta! I would do anything for him! Anything!"
said Xara.
“Alright, I will make the necessary arrangements then. We will only tell the real Queta if there is a chance in the future.”
This was the most he could do, at least for now.
Jasmine has left with Mindy. Marven and the others were waiting by car outside for Gerald to return.
Gerald didn't ask them to stay home, so they didn't dare to.
It would be troublesome if Xara were to come with them. Therefore, he asked Stella to go with Marven and the rest of the group first.
Afterwards, Gerald gets another car and takes Xara to the villa where she is currently staying.
“Let's go, Aunt Fenderson. It's here!”
When they reached the villa door, Gerald smiled bitterly as he saw Xara standing there, completely frozen.
“Oh, true!”
Door opened.
“Queta! Queta?”
Gerald shouted twice.
He assumed that Queta must have gone out to buy something.
“He does not exist. Aunt Fenderson, please wait a minute.”
Xara nodded small. “Gerald, I want to go to Queta's room and see her. Will it be troublesome?” she asked.
"No! Absolutely not! Let me take you there!”
Gerald then opened the door to Queta's room.
However, he did not enter the room.
It was Xara who entered the room with red eyes and tears in her eyes.
The room was tidied up with not a single thing out of place. There was not even a speck of dust in his room, not even in the corners, and the room was as clean as a new safety pin.
In the closet, the usual Queta clothes he wore were neatly arranged.
He then walked towards the Queta table.
There's a picture frame on the table, and it contains a photo of Queta.
Xara could no longer hold back her tears as she looked at the photo of her baby daughter.
In the photo, Queta almost looks exactly like her when she was young.
'Daughter! She really is my daughter!
'He looks exactly like me!'
Nothing makes him happier than to be reunited with his own daughter.
He knew God still loved him.
He stuck the picture frame to his chest and continued sobbing for a while.
Suddenly, he glanced at the table and saw there was a notebook on it.
He opened it and saw it.
It was filled with neat and beautiful Queta handwriting.
