Immediately after saying that, Noah sneered.

Bryson himself finally realized how cornered he really was. He would have never imagined that Schuyler was actually capable of this.

“You... Have you caught Jasmine and Mindy.?”

“Huh. You have five minutes to consider, Lord Fenderson. Also, do not bother relying on the board of directors. Rest assured that even those most loyal to you will immediately sign and approve of it,” replied Noah, ignoring Bryson's question altogether.

“Alright, I'll sign it! However, I want you to clarify something. Are you all really Moldell's henchmen?” bryson asked in an annoyed tone as he signed the agreement form.

“Lackey is an unpleasant term, Lord Fenderson. I just choose to work with a wiser person! Note that you are the one who brought this upon yourself! After all, you rejected the Moldell family's proposal to cooperate with them to search for Gerald in Salford Province!” said Noah.

“As part of our deal with the Moldell family, once we are in power, we will use the surname Fenderson to look for Gerald! Speaking of the deal, once we get it out, Fenderson's surname will no longer exist! Instead, you will all adopt the surname Schuyler! As I said before, this is all your own doing, so don't blame me!” added Noah.

“Well, someone please take him back to his room so he can rest. Take care of him properly. We can't delay the big event that will take place tomorrow.”

Finally finished with his monologue, Noah then walked out of the room with his men.

Meanwhile, more and more kidnapped people are being taken to the Schuyler family's secret room.

As concluded earlier, most, if not all, of the people there are people who are highly trusted or relied upon by Fenderson.

"It's not gonna work... I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen to Grandpa... We need to think of a way to escape immediately!" said Jasmine.

“We do. I've been thinking for a while, and the best thing we can possibly do now is to gather the people in the room who have great martial arts skills and strive to get out!” Warren replied.

He then added, “From what I know and personally experience, you should be the most skilled martial artist among all of us here, Miss Jasmine. You seem to be proficient with weapons as well. Including Maia and me, the three of us will take the vanguard on our way out. Still, it only makes three people.”.

“I also know martial arts! Count me!”

"Me too!"

It didn't take long for more than ten new faces to step forward. Their bravery came from their anger about the whole situation, and no one in the room was willing to submit to Noah b*stard without a fight.

“While I know you want to escape, be careful out there, sir! Since you're not from the Fenderson family, I'm sure they won't make things difficult for you. Even so, things could go bad if Noah catches you during your escape attempt! ” said one of the men arrested in the room.

“Huh! The weak should let the strong take the lead, ” Warren said as he shook his head resignedly.

After seeing Gerald for a while, Jasmine nodded before adding, “At this moment I have to agree with Warren's statement. Trying to get out of this place will be much better than just resigned to our fate.”

In his mind, he thought about how he could quickly tell the others about Schuyler's plan if he made it out safely. If that happens, Schuyler can be dealt with before they can implement whatever they have planned.

"I'm glad to hear that. By the way, I noticed that the defense system in this house is quite soft. However, I feel that things will be much tighter on the outside. Are you familiar with the outside of the Schuyler family home?” ask Warren.

"I. Stay close to me on my way out. I'll guide you along a path that I don't think should be taken too much care of. With any luck, we'll be able to get out of this place.”

Hearing that, Gerald then said, “Ah! Ah ah!"

It was clear that he told them to take him.

“I know you're scared, Sanderson, but we might not make it through! What's more, we don't yet know how dangerous it is out there!” jasmine replied with a worried tone in her voice.

Maia herself simply rolled her eyes at his suggestion.

“With our current family condition, I also cannot stay here without doing anything, Jasmine! I'm coming!” mindy said as he gritted his teeth.

After hearing that, Jasmine turned to look at the people trapped there. While many had gained courage earlier when the escape plan had been mentioned, many more were still trembling in fear at the thought of being arrested again by Schuyler.

As Mindy and Sanderson were not part of the fearful group, after considering it for a while, Jasmine nodded with a sigh while looking at Mindy.

"Wait on! I don't agree with this! As said before, we don't yet know how dangerous it is out there! Come with us when you don't know any martial arts could end up with something terribly wrong, Miss Mindy and Sanderson!” Maia.

“Don't waste our energy arguing about this. For now, let's discuss how we will escape while waiting until dark,” Jasmine said, preventing Maia from creating unnecessary tension.

As the group took a break to calm down, Gerald slipped into a corner of the room. Once he was there, he took out what looked like a jade pendant from his pocket. However, upon closer inspection, the 'pendant' had a button on it.

Taking a deep breath, Gerald then pressed the button.
