Chapter 900

Looking in the same direction as Gerald, Quest noticed that a team of similar-looking cars had just been parked at the foot of Yorknorth Mountain. After narrowing his eyes, he realized that Gerald was looking at two women who had just gotten off one of the cars.

Seeing how shocked Gerald was, Quest put a finger under his chin as he said in an interested tone, “Huh! You're an adult, aren't you Mr Crawford? Are you going to tell me now that you've never seen a beautiful woman before? Although I have to admit that both women were amazing. ”

"Shut up!" gerald replied, his gaze firm as he continued to stare at the two women.

Gerald really didn't expect to meet two girls here. The two beautiful women were actually his old acquaintances, Jasmine and Mindy.

He had not met the two girls since he said goodbye to them about half a year ago in Salford Province.

After an incident at the Fenderson family home, her father tells her that she is under contract to marry Jasmine. Upon learning that his grandfather signed the contract, Gerald could only feel helpless back then.

However, he understood his grandfather's motives. 

After all, it was a trend back then to have a strong alliance.

Cutting it off, Gerald then told Quest to stop the machine.

His intention was not to continue spying on them, nor was it to greet and chase them. In fact, Gerald had noticed two figures that seemed to be trailing Jasmine and Mindy from a distance. The stalkers were too suspicious for Gerald to ignore.

“Are you done seeing them, Mr. Crawford's? They've climbed the mountain,” Quest said.

“I wait for them to go up a little higher. Just wait here in the meantime. ”

After making sure that the two girls had climbed quite a distance, Gerald quietly got out of the car and started inching towards the two scheming men.

“Damn it! Was he really planning to chase after those two beautiful women to chat with them? ” Quest words with resignation.

She then looked at Naomi before saying, "...Wait here, I'll go there to see what he's doing."

With that, he walked over to Gerald.

“What exactly do you want to achieve?”

"Just do! Quickly quickly!" gerald's orders while pushing the Quest forward.

Seeing that he had no choice, Quest stood in front of the two men, shouting all sorts of obscenities to get their attention. Gerald himself quickly took up a position.

While it is true that he is now meddling in Jasmine and Mindy's affairs to some degree, Gerald didn't do it for the sake of it. He did not do so because of the marriage contract his grandfather had signed.

Instead, he only did this for the safety of his aunt and Queta. After all, they were also members of the Fenderson family.

Since those from the Fenderson family can now be considered as the Crawford family's brother and sister-in-law, Gerald doubted that Schuyler—'s former foes of the Fenderson— family even dared to do bad things to them. Knowing that made him even more curious to find out who the stalkers were working for.

As expected, Quest was the leading candidate in terms of ridicule. It didn't take long for the two stalkers to start chasing after him.

However, while running into the corridor, one of them immediately felt something was wrong and shouted, “Wait! We are being lured into a trap!”

As the two men turned to retreat, a dark figure flashed past them.

Before any of them could even react, the figure launched a very smooth movement. It took them a few seconds to realize the burning sensation in their chest. The pain was so intense that it didn't take long for the two men to start screaming in pain as they fell to the ground.

“K-you... Who are you…? Do you even know who you're dealing with.?” warned one of the men while holding his chest while trying to get up.

However, in the end, the two of them could not even sit up straight, let alone stand up.

“I don't know who you are, but know this. If you don't answer my question honestly, you won't be able to get out alive, ”gerald said coldly as he put his hand into his pocket before crouching down to take a closer look at the two stalkers.

Hearing that, both of them felt a tremendous chill running down their backs.
