Jace quickly tried to persuade the others to calm down before things escalated too quickly.

To be honest, even she was surprised to hear Gerald say that someone had drained their baby's oxyblood. It was a statement he had never heard before.

Even so, he had witnessed Gerald's skills and abilities before, so Jace believed that Gerald knew what he was doing.

“Hah! Look, Dr. Mabb's? I've already told you that his previous achievements were just a coincidence! He really is incapable at all! Being so young, what did he know? You would have thought she was here to act in some movie after hearing her explanation!” walbridge murmured sadly.

Although he did not say that in a very loud voice, everyone in the conference room could hear what he had just said.

It's clear that Walbridge is jealous of Gerald. After all, she had seen the way Breanna — had her old crush who was also her junior — looked at Gerald before. It was definitely the last blow for him!

Enraged by her, Walbridge has a constant urge to publicly humiliate Gerald.

After hearing what his student said, Jace's expression instantly turned grim as he turned to look at Walbridge before saying, “Silence, Walbridge! I'm sure there must be a reason for Mr. Crawford to say all that! Let's see what else Mr will say. Crawford first! What if the deduction is correct?”

Gerald himself now had a sour expression on his face. Anyone would feel dissatisfied after being criticized and humiliated in such a way.

"There's still so much you all don't know about the world!" gerald replied coldly.

“...If possible, is there a cure for all of this, Mr. Crawford.?” jace asked, choosing to believe in Gerald.

"There was. Acupuncture and medication can be used to condition their bodies. Even so, we must act quickly. Once the baby's organs completely fail, they won't be able to be saved again!”

“Do you know how hasty you are? You can't just treat the lives of more than a hundred children like a joke, Dr. Mabb's! He was just a young boy who had almost no experience! What would he know in this situation ?! ” shouted another doctor furiously.

“Then do you have a better idea?” jace asked coldly in return.

“While I don't, we still can't take this situation lightly! Also, giving medicine to a newborn? What will happen if their condition worsens after taking the medicine? You, of all people, should know that these babies cannot receive much more! With that in mind, we should not play tricks on their health until we are absolutely sure we can help them!” reasoned others who felt that letting Gerald care for a newborn was no different than giving him permission to play tricks on their health.

Zane himself was now staring at Gerald, wondering whether to believe him or not. Although Gerald's explanation sounded dubious, there was only something about determination and clarity in Gerald's eyes that gave others a strong sense of conviction.

Is Gerald really sure of the answer?

“...Let him go,” says Zane.

"…Come back? You really let him try? Then who will bear the responsibility in case something goes wrong?!”

"I!" yelled Jace, Zane, and Gerald simultaneously.

After that, the three of them could not help but look at each other.

"…All right then! Since the three of you have agreed to take full responsibility for this incident, let it be!”

Since there were now fools willing to take responsibility for this matter, everyone no longer had anything to say. Gerald can try everything he wants!

If that wasn't clear enough now, these doctors frankly don't care whether the babies live or die as long as they can protect their own interests!

“Are you sure you don't want to reconsider this, Dr. Mabb's? We shouldn't have acted so hastily! We risked over a hundred lives here! It's not just one Lady Smith anymore! ” says Walbridge whose jealousy has increased now that the dean is also on Gerald's side. How is that possible?

Walbridge honestly doesn't believe that her master still believes Gerald's bullshit. How can Dr. Mabb was bewildered by such obscure rants?

Stunned, Walbridge then replied, “...Whahuh? Me... I just don't want your reputation to decline, doctor! After all, you are a genius doctor! ”

“Never have I considered myself a genius doctor. Walbridge, I want you to know that if my reputation is all I need to save this patient, then I will gladly throw it all away! You are a thirty year old man who has studied medicine for many years, Walbridge... How do you think you're still so wrong? If you continue down this path, I'm afraid you'll never be able to achieve anything in the medical world!” jace said with a disappointed sigh.

His face now turned green with envy, Walbridge then shouted, “...Whichever the case, I still can't believe he can cure the kids!”

"And what if I could?" gerald asked as he looked at Walbridge coldly.

That guy has been coming to her all this time and it's starting to bother Gerald…
