Chapter 1275

Turning around to see who it was, Gerald was surprised to see Naomi there. Thinking back, he hadn't seen her for days.

"What are you doing here, Naomi?" ask Gerald.

“Well, Master Nacol gave a lecture today and I am responsible for leading the most accomplished students in our class to participate in it! And what about you? Could it be that you are also interested in such a lecture?” naomi answered while looking at Gerald with a smile.

Meeting Gerald was always a pleasant surprise for Naomi. In fact, whenever she can't sleep, Naomi always wants to call Gerald to see what he's doing and ask him how he's been doing lately. He's not really up-to-date with her. After all, Naomi has been actively trying to avoid him because she doesn't want to end up falling in love with Gerald.

Gerald himself realizes Naomi's feelings for her.

Despite knowing that, Naomi is also well aware that Gerald is completely loyal to Mila. Nothing could stop him from finding her, and he would never repay the feelings of others to her. He had absolutely no interest in any other attachments other than himself and Mila.

Even so, Naomi knew that deep down, she could never give up on the hope that she could be with him. Therefore, he was always ready to go wherever Gerald went.

"Not everything. I'm here to discuss some things with Master Nacol!” gerald said, not feeling the need to hide the truth from Naomi.

Due to the coincidence that they met each other today, the two then continued the chat as they walked to the auditorium to look for a seat.

It wasn't long before Gerald's phone suddenly rang. Seeing that it was a phone from Jace, Gerald then picked it up before asking, “What's up, Dr. Mabb?”

“Ah, alright, Chairman Dixon Harell—the organizer of this event—found your presence here today is very important! Therefore, he arranged a VIP seat for you and Master Nacol! With that in mind, I called to ask if you want to come to the VIP seat now!” jace replied while chuckling.

“No need for that! I'm with a friend now, you know. All I need is for you to arrange a private meeting for me with Master Nacol after he finishes with his lecture. Thanks for the problem!” gerald said with a smile.

"Okay, Mr Crawford!" answer Jace. The doctor really admired Gerald, so it was an honor for him to be able to help him.

Regardless, Jace then turned to look at Dixon — who had rubbed his hands to soothe his nervousness during this — before shaking his head somewhat regretfully.

Seeing Gerald after the two of them sat next to his students, Naomi then asked, “Maybe you are busy? If yes, you must go first! ”

Although she said that, Naomi was honestly a little worried that she was really busy and she had to leave again so quickly.

Fortunately for him, Gerald simply smiled before replying, "Not the slightest bit!"

With that, the two continued chatting while waiting for the lecture to begin. As Naomi's attention was entirely on Gerald, she did not realize that some of her male students were running behind her…

Suddenly, a loud voice sounded!

Basically, one of the boys was chasing the other one to try to grab his phone. Unfortunately for him, he accidentally bumped into a waiter, causing the wine tray in the servant's hand to drop!

While that alone would not result in that big problem, it just so happened that a beautiful woman — whose arms were locked with a middle-aged man — was walking past that waitress at that moment, she said, resulting in red wine spilling all over his body!

After which, the woman immediately let out an angry scream!

Anyone who attends such a big event will definitely dress to impress because an event like this is the perfect opportunity for them to shine. With that in mind, his anger and embarrassment were completely understandable. After all, her dress was now completely wet with red wine!

“A-I'm sorry...!” yelled the male student—who accidentally caused all this— very nervous.

However, before he could say a word, he was immediately greeted by a loud slap!

As the woman glared at the dumbfounded boy, she then roared, “Do you think apologizing will make things right?! Are you blind or something ?! ”
