Hearing that, everyone immediately began to imitate his actions, repeating the exact same words that the bearded man had used.

Gerald, however, just walked over to the two corpses and upon seeing, he said, “What is Capra Nanny? This was done by a mere beast!”

“...W-what are you saying? It's bullshit! You're just a young boy who doesn't know anything! You better keep your tongue or you'll be the first to be killed by Capra Nanny!” reprimanding the Master of the Desert in return, clearly felt that Gerald's words were too careless.

“Take your tongue or you will be the first person Capra Nanny~ killed!”

As soon as Master of the Desert said that, a faint sound—that almost blends with the wind and sand—was heard.

Everyone listened in horror as the creepy-sounding, child-like voice repeated. The fact that all this is happening under the night sky just makes the atmosphere feel more real.

“K-sister! Be carefull! There's something behind you!” warning Giya and Meredith as they simultaneously stood up, overwhelming fear in their voices.

Gerald already had a good feeling about what 'something' was'. He had already bumped into her before, and after turning around to stare at the monster, his guess turned out to be correct.

The monster itself had green eyes and disheveled hair, and was currently crawling out of the dunes. Standing up straight, he looked similar to a human at first glance. However, a closer examination, anyone would definitely know that he did not.

Still repeating the same sentence from before, Capra Nanny began to slowly crawl towards Gerald with her long tongue—which was filled with rows of thorns on it and was occasionally dragged across the sand— hinged.

“C-Capra Babysitter!” The Master of the Desert stuttered in fear as he instantly started prostrating in front of him.

“I've been looking for you all night and day, you know? So you finally decided to show yourself again!” yell Gerald, cold.

To be honest, with Gerald's speed, he had previously made it past the midpoint of the wasteland. However, not long after, he discovers the existence of Capra Nanny.

Under normal circumstances, Gerald would just walk past him so he could leave. However, this is not normal. After all, Giya and her group were still behind him.

Gerald is concerned about Giya's safety because one of them, the animal seems to prefer attacking tourists. Second, he could also tell that the beast was not something that ordinary people could handle easily. With that thought, he could only turn around to look for Giya.

When the beast finally realized who Gerald was, anger filled its green eyes as green saliva dripped from its gaping mouth.

While Professor Yale and the others immediately nodded, Wynn himself took out a gun from his pocket before saying, “That's just an animal, isn't it? What are you all afraid of? Don't worry, Gia! I'll protect you! Look at me kill him!”

Being as selfish as he was, Wynn clearly did not let his rival steal his attention. With that, he aimed at the monster and pulled the trigger!

Although the bullet hit its target, Capra Nanny was barely affected by the attack.
