Chapter 715
"What exactly is your problem?" furious Gerald.
“Huh! So Fabian lost, big deal! If you think you're that great, why don't you go on that stage and just fight ?! ” shouted Isabelle.
It was very clear that he was simply directing all his anger and frustration at Gerald. He even took his bottle and tried to splash water all over Gerald!
Fortunately, he was able to avoid getting soaked in time. However, he was now very tempted to slap her face for doing so.
Fortunately, their classmate came in and pulled Isabelle aside to prevent the situation from escalating.
Maia herself only glanced at Gerald for a moment before looking back at Warren who seemed to be emitting a beaming aura. He knew he would not disappoint anyone.
At that moment, a jury went up on stage and approached Warren before saying, “To be honest I have never met someone your age who has that much skill and elegance! You are truly the champion of Sunnydale!”
The judge himself looked to be in his early forties, and most likely he was a famous figure in the field.
Hearing that, Warren only smiled subtly while shaking his head.
“Hah, you call it skillful and graceful? You don't even know what those words mean if you use them to describe them!” shouted the female voice from the audience, sounding extremely annoyed.
The statement left everyone speechless, and all the spectators simultaneously started searching for the source of the voice.
It's not just anyone who makes that bold claim. The owner of that voice was none other than Mindy!
While the two girls initially wanted to leave as soon as the match ended, hearing the judge kiss Warren's butt next to the loud cheers made Mindy very upset.
His real intention was not to insult Warren just for Fabian's sake.
He could not stand all the praise Warren received just for that little feat. To him, the audience and jury's responses were too imposing on his taste.
Since everyone was well aware of who the two were, they simply kept quiet and observed.
"All right, that's enough!" jasmine said as she started dragging Mindy with her elbow towards the exit.
“So I assume you've seen the real skill? If not, I really do not know why you are so bitter!” maia shouted in response.
While she was really unhappy to hear someone insulting Warren like that, Maia noticed her tongue because she did not yet know what the two could actually do.
She then whispered to him, "Jasmine, just fight him and put him in his place!"
Mindy obviously only acted this way because she was caught in the heat of the moment.
Jasmine herself did not like the idea. He doesn't really enjoy competing with others. If he wanted to participate in this event, he would have signed up long ago. However, he had yet to find an opponent worthy of debate.
Not wanting to aggravate the situation any further, Jasmine simply shook her head and started to leave.
“Don't just leave after your friend says that! Come on, fight him if you dare!" maia said with a satisfied grin on her face.
“It's okay, Maia. I'm not going to fight him. You should know very well that I don't hit women!” warren replied, chuckling softly.
Upon hearing the statement, Jasmine stopped in her tracks.
“Alright then, let's fight!” he shouted as he looked right into Warren's eyes.
He only agreed because Warren said that statement.
'Are all men really like this? Do they only wish women were weaker than them in all aspects?'
He was very upset by this because it was also the reason why he and Mindy were unable to take part in important matters in his family.
This is the last straw for him.
"Of course!" exclaim Mindy excited.
"Oh? Our queen will fight?”
"Holy! What a pleasure! ”
After hearing their conversation, the audience immediately started cheering again.
Warren simply shrugged at their response as if he did not care much. After all, he knew he would not need much effort to win against him!
