Chapter 671

This was what Maia said as soon as she saw that Gerald had also entered a high-end entertainment center.

Gerald himself just took a walk, taking care of his own affairs before turning to look at Maia after hearing her screams. Contrary to Maia, she was as calm as a cucumber.

However Maia, did not have all of this. To him, Gerald might only enter because he followed them closely while Jamier showed his VIP card staff beforehand. The staff must have allowed him to enter back then, thinking that he was part of their group!

Seeing Gerald in such a place only made Maia feel uncomfortable.

“Hei, Gerald! Why are you here too? Who let you in here?” maia said somewhat angrily.

Hearing Maia's interrogative question, Gerald felt astonished.

'Who let me in? I can come and go as I please because the staff have been told that I came with Barry.'

'I naturally have free access to this place!'

To be honest, Gerald just passed the entertainment center because he needed to. After all, that was the only way for him to get to the small noble house on the top of mountain— above the entertainment center— where Barry and Queta were still waiting.

“Damn it, are you not ashamed at all? Did You Know that if you do not take a tour, you need a VIP card to enter this place? Not just anyone can enter as they please!” added Maia, her voice was clearly filled with contempt.

"I'm aware of that!" gerald replied with a nod.

“Damn it! Since you already know about it, how can you follow us here after Jamier shows his VIP card? You cannot just sneak into this place with us!” answer Maia.

Although she didn't really hate Gerald in the past, Maia still looked down on Gerald. However, after today's incident, he started to hate her a little.

'Jamier didn't even invite you! Only Warren, Vincy, Lennard, and I should have come here for fun!'

'How dare you even consider sneaking in with us? What would Jamier think of this?'

'After all, he knew that Vince, Lennard, and I were your classmates in High School! Absolutely disgraceful!'

'If you sneak somewhere else with us without Jamier present, I won't care too much! Shit, I'll probably agree to it as long as you're willing to expand your horizons!'

All these thoughts made Maia even more embarrassed than before.

"I didn't even sneak into this place!" gerald replied helplessly.

He knew how much Maia looked down on him in the past. To think that it could actually get worse!

But he also did not lie. He really didn't sneak in.

“How can you say that at this moment …? If you don't sneak in, do you have a VIP card ?! ” said Maia angrily.

“Yah... No,” replied Gerald. After all, he didn't really need someone to enter.

“Then why are you still lying? You snuck into this place yet you still don't want to admit it! I'm really speechless now!” maia shouted, so angry that she even stomped her feet now.

If not for how aware he was of his status as a police officer, he would have already kicked Gerald at least twice by now!

What's more, some other respectable-looking people— who were also walking around in the entertainment center at the time—seemed to find the scene rather amusing.

Realizing this made Maia and the others feel extremely embarrassed.

Trying to defuse the situation, Vince then said, “It's okay, Maia. Don't talk to Gerald like that. Remember, we were in class! Also, Jamier? Hope you don't think too much about it. Gerald must have just walked in with us for fun!”

“I don't mind!” jamier replied while shaking his head while laughing a bit bitterly.

“Huh! You're lucky Jamier is so generous! If not, we'll kick you out of here right away! My God, I feel so upset to see it like this!” maia growled while stomping her feet a few more times before finally turning around to leave.

Vince could only look at Gerald sadly.

After all, everything Maia said to him was just as unpleasant and painful.
