Nathan turned his head, looked at the car behind them, the car Jessica had just started and squinted both eyes. He could clearly see a tall man sitting behind the steering wheel of a Mercedes car following them behind. The young man's mind immediately panicked when he saw Jessica entering the deserted cafe parking lot.
"No, Jessie! Get out! We have to get back to the main highway, we have to get to a more crowded place." Nathan tried to give Jessica an order. "We go out and look, if he's still following behind our car then we'll know that there's something wrong with that guy."
"I see," Jessica nodded her head in agreement and immediately did as Nathan had instructed her just now.
Jessica keeps driving the car. He turned left, got out of the parking lot and re-entered the highway. After that, Nathan looked back again and he could see if the car was still following them.
"He's still following our car, look!" jessica complains to Nathan. "It's definitely not a coincidence, is it? He's following us, Nathan"
"Don't panic, Jessica," Nathan urges her as he watches the girl start to panic and adds speed.
"He's following us, Nathan!" reply Jessica.
Nathan becomes more rounded when he realizes that Jessica is increasing the speed of the car. The girl panicked when she saw the car behind them adding speed, chasing them.
"Don't add speed, Jessica!" Nathan exclaims. "Don't speed!"
"I'm not speeding, Nathan!" he told the girl. "It's sixty miles an hour."
"really? What I see here is that the figure even touches seventy," Nathan said sharply to him, as the young man was seen bending over to check the speedometer.
Jessica bit her lips as she followed the signs that would bring them back to the terminal. His hand held the car's steering wheel firmly as he continued driving in fear and Nathan looked back at the car behind.
"Just keep! We're going to the terminal" Nathan kept urging him. "When we get there, we'll hand over the keys and we'll just leave. Understood?"
But even with that answer, it does not mean Jessica has a chance to do Nathan's orders. Jessica looked at the rearview mirror and the next second the car behind them was increasing speed and getting closer to them.
"Nathan, he's gonna hit us!" scream Jessica.
And sure enough, that same time the car hit the back of their rental car. Jessica screeched as she felt the vehicle slip forward and she did the best she could to control it. Nathan now felt his body shake as Jessica turned the steering wheel and the car spun around for several times.
"Damn, shit, shit!" Jessica exclaimed, she kept doing her best to stop the car from hitting the trees that were on the side of the road.
But he failed miserably, the front of their car hit a tree on the side of the road. Jessica screeched when the car finally stopped and she immediately turned to Nathan. The young man looked so surprised by the incident they had just experienced. Luckily the road was in a state of desolation, otherwise they could hit or even hit by another vehicle.
"Are you okay, Nathan?" he wondered to Nathan
"I'm fine" Nathan said after a while.
Nathan looked Jessica in the eye and then they turned to see that the car that followed them had stopped.
"Jessica, lock the door. Lock the door and don't look at him, point your eyes at me." Nathan asked.
Nathan moved his hand to hold both of Jessica's cheeks. He turned the girl's gaze towards her and her thumb gently caressed Jessica's cheek skin. He gulped violently as Nathan looked behind his shoulder and saw the man standing there.
Jessica choked as she heard a knock on the window behind her and she kept trying to ignore it. Nathan continued to stare at Jessica's face, doing his best to ignore the man.
It was only after the two of them were shocked that the man used his elbow to smash the glass and that was when Nathan knew that they were currently in deep trouble.
