Jessica was relieved when she heard Nathan's voice drift into her ear. He leaned further back on the chair and played with the tip of his jacket.
"You just left, right?" ask Nathan.
"What's wrong?" Jessica wondered in an astonished tone, turning to her father.
Robert nodded and stroked his chin. He wondered what the boy wanted from his daughter now. Nathan becomes too involved in Jessica's life for things Robert doesn't like.
"You need to get off that train right now" Nathan told him. The young man was pacing around the organization's office room when he called the girl.
Jessica's brows furrowed as she looked at her father. And Robert knew something was wrong. She moves in haste, grabs the phone from Jessica's hand and attaches it to her ear.
"What's up, Nathan?" Robert asked him.
"I'm in our office right now. I saw Dimitri on the station's CCTV and I went straight to the office to investigate what he was doing."
"And?"
"Robert, Dimitri put some kind of bomb in the front row. That's why the train was delayed a while ago. You just left so you have to come down now."
"How much time do we have?"
"About five minutes," Nathan said, "and it's going to keep on decreasing."
Robert immediately stood up from his position. He moved hurriedly, stuffing his things into the bag. He then threw his coffee cup into the trash can next to the chair.
Jessica who was surprised to see the sudden movement of the father immediately looked at his father.
"What's up, dad?" Jessica wondered.
Robert did not reply and instead extended a hand to Jessica. He moved the phone to his left ear with his other hand while looking right and left. He had to stop this train somehow.
"Come with me" Robert pulled Jessica's hand. "Come, hurry!"
Jessica, who had been staring at Robert's hand, quickly grabbed her bag and put it on her shoulder. Grabbing his father's hand, he walked in a limped step behind the father, following the man who was now moving further into the front of the carriage.
"We have to go to the train technician. They need to be told. Nathan, is there anything you can do?"
"He did something to control his train, Robert. The train was jammed at sixty-seven miles an hour" lamented Nathan, trying his hardest to change the train's path through his computer. Nathan shook his head when he realized that it was useless. "You need to get off the train, Robert! It's the only way you can survive."
"And how can you advise me to do that?" Robert growling.
Robert looked back, his hand still holding tightly onto Jessica's hand, dragging her from behind. The train was full of people who blocked its path and he tried his best not to hit anyone. "Is there a way out for us?"
"You look for enough space for you" Nathan suggested.
"There's a door here. But this is not a big window. I'll go through that door later, right now I have to tell the tech."
"Robert, there's no time! You need to get off that train now." Nathan yelled on the phone.
"I'll continue for a moment." Robert said and put Jessica's phone in his pocket, ignoring Nathan who was still on the phone.
He finally got into the carriage where the train technician was and banged on the door. The people inside the room turned around in their seats. They stared in wonder at Robert and wondered at what had happened. Feeling this was too time-wasting Robert sighed harshly and knew what he should do at this moment.
"Dad," Jessica murmured to her father. "What are you doing?"
"Big thing," replied Robert, pulling the gun out of his trouser belt. Later then…
DOR'S!
