"Everything's gonna be fine, Jessie" Nathan tries to cheer her up. She moved her body and tried to raise her hand and put it over Jessica's. His fingers slowly rested on top of the girl's hand, grasping her. "Your father will definitely come home because Dimitri has disappeared."
"But he disappeared, he wasn't caught. That's what makes me so unsettled." whispered Jessica. "Can anyone else try to find him? Can another agent take care of Dimitri? Why should my father?"
"I don't know" Nathan replied, his voice low just as Jessica's hand tightened her hand against Nathan's.
Jessica needs comfort from someone. She craved for someone to be by her side, for her. Jessica doesn't know why. Jessica always felt that way. She had spent years living with her mother who had always been cold. He never really knew where his father was.
And when it comes to knowing who his father is, it's all for nothing, because his father is always busy with his affairs, which in the end is known if his father is a secret agent of the government.
Jessica never wanted to be alone. He has many girlfriends, surrounded by many friends. He had done anything that might not have ended up making him feel alone. They were always with him. But he had never felt like he was with Nathan. Jessica had never thought that a man with disheveled hair and cheap glasses would manage to make her feel so alive. He didn't expect it to be this close to him.
And he doesn't care. Jessica did not care if there was the fact that Nathan was not her usual type at all. Nathan doesn't even belong to the type of guy he always dates. And Jessica felt something for the young man. Something that made him happy.
So far, no one has given him the comfort Nathan gave him. He only felt so complete when Nathan was by his side, for some reason.
Nathan moved his thumb over Jessica's finger, trying to do his best to calm the girl down. Little did Nathan know that Jessica's presence caused his breathing to become faster and his mind to think of inappropriate things at that moment.
'This is not true, ' Nathan's inner self shook his head.
Jessica looked at him, her brows appearing to be curled as Nathan pushed his glasses further up her nose as Jessica looked at him.
"What's wrong?" jessica was confused. "You look nervous?"
"What does it mean to wait is a bad thing?" Jessica wondered.
That was new to Nathan. He just doesn't feel so safe around women. Jessica knows that Nathan definitely doesn't know how to behave around a woman like her. Usually Jessica would find it uninteresting or rather boring, but it looked most appealing to Nathan.
His face was cute when nervous about being around women.
"It could be," Nathan muttered back.
Hearing that Jessica actually leaned closer to the man and combed Nathan's hair with her hands.
Nathan looked a little shaky under the girl's touch. Seeing that Jessica chose to move her other hand to Nathan's cheek. Jessica closed her eyes slowly, knowing full well that Nathan would not be the one to start the kiss.
"So my grasp, bothers you, huh?" jessica Goda.
Nathan's cheeks instantly flushed red as Jessica dropped her hand and moved her other hand from her hair-sheet.
Nathan was getting nervous. He looked like a nervous little boy now. He's sure after this Robert has an idea about Jessica and her. Finished maybe. Nathan just hoped Robert wouldn't know.
"Dad," Jessica said as Robert was seen in the doorway, next to her eyebrows rising.
