"Let go!" jessica exclaimed as John pulled her from the trunk of the car and took her to a kitchen that looked foreign to her. The kitchen looked somewhat similar to the previous house, but Jessica could not be sure if it was really similar or not.

Jessica squealed as she felt her body being tossed on the floor by John. The man then pulled the duct tape that had covered Jessica's mouth.

"You're the one who got yourself into this mess, Jessie," John snapped at her. "You've wasted my time. And I have to go out of town because of you. You've even troubled your own father over this, you know?"

"I don't care! I won't let my father give you what you want" Jessica said sharply as she tried to untie her wrist. "I don't care about anything anymore.my father..."

"Do you think so?" John wondered with an amused smile. "Do you think your life means nothing to your father?"

"No," Jessica replied sarcastically. "He only knows what the right thing to do right now is .. not to let you get away with all this."

"You still see your father as a hero apparently." John bowed his body looking at Jessica with a sneering expression on his face. "So, do you think he'll save you now?"

"Yes," said the cynical Jessica, she refused to lose faith in her father. "And didn't you say earlier that you wouldn't kill me if they did what you wanted."

"Well, your life means nothing to me, Jessica. And finishing you also gives me nothing but satisfaction" John told her to pull Jessica up. "To be honest I'm not a person who is known to like to keep promises, but we'll see in the future. Who knows I'd change my mind and want you to die..."

John dropped it on the ground again after saying that. He watched as the girl limply started dragging herself, doing her best to escape from him.

As soon as he saw that John just brashly put his dirty shoes on Jessica's back, trying to stop the girl from going anywhere before then staring intently at Jessica.

"Trust me, my promise doesn't mean it will be the same as my treatment, bad girl!"

"Just kill you! Brengs*h!" curse Jessica.

Jessica then felt John's feet stomping her body tautly and getting tighter. Jessica groans in pain. His breathing was panting as he felt pain in his ribs. Jessica knew that her bones would definitely bruise.

Jessica gulped and she pushed her own body to sit leaning against the corner of the room. He looked around the room. Not infrequently Jessica focused on finding a way to escape from this place.

While moving her hand ties, Jessica groaned. He could feel his whole body hurting. And Jessica didn't know if she could escape from this place. He hesitated to do it. Jessica also doesn't know where to go or if she can get out at the right time. But he wouldn't know if he never tried. Jessica did everything she could to find a potential tool for her to fight back as John walked out of the kitchen somewhere.

And that was when Jessica could see the view of the cup. Jessica could hear John currently going out through the door to the garage, it was clear that he was going to check his car. It was a sign for Jessica to move immediately. He quickly shifted and forced himself to move into the cup. He then raised his bound hand, trying to grab the cup.

Jessica was a little troubled because of her trembling hands. He managed to reach for the glass before he without dropping it. Jessica let the thing fall to the ground, crumbling into sharp shards on the floor. He knew that John would definitely hear the shards and he must be on his way to come to him again.

Jessica quickly leaned over to the floor to grab the broken glass. And his fingers managed to pick up the part that had a sharp tip. After that, Jessica quickly returned to her place, leaned back against the wall and hid the shards behind her body.

He could hear the sound of John's footsteps returning to the kitchen and he saw Jessica still sitting in her previous position.

"What was that?" John asked while looking around him before then he saw the broken cup on the floor. "Are you the one who did that?"

"I haven't even moved yet" Jessica tried to lie to him. "You may not put it on the table properly."

"I put it on the table, right," John said to him in a pressed tone. "But it's okay, don't worry about it, Jessica. Now, why are you doing that?"

"I didn't do anything" Jessica replied to him. He continues to do his best to release himself from the bond.

John slowly moved towards her and she remained silent as she finally felt her wrists free. He just had to untie the bond that was on his ankle again. Jessica had to wait for John to leave her alone. He had to wait for the man to get away from him.

That's when his phone started ringing. A small grin appeared on his face as he looked at the name of the caller.

"I'll deal with you in a moment" she said to Jessica and slowly walked into the next room.
