It had already been some time since they lost the news from Robert. Jessica said nothing after learning her father could not be contacted at all.

"Have you heard from my father?"

"Nil."

"He didn't call you?"

Nathan shook his head, "He hasn't contacted me either."

"Did he often go missing without news like this?"

"Yes, I can say that. But it's not usually this long."

"So, do you think my dad's okay?" Jessica asked doubtfully.

Nathan was silent for a while before replying, "I don't know why either but let's hope that's okay."

Jessica nodded her head, trying to understand Nathan's words. He knew Nathan could not confirm his father's condition either, so for now he chose to sit still.

It shows you the time to go home from work. The atmosphere began to quiet because the workers behind Nathan one by one began to look disperse.

The two of them could only see the departure of the workers and could do nothing about it. They also could not resist the departure of the workers until they got news from Robert because at that time the clock was already showing the time to go home from work.

"Boss, do you want me to accompany you here?" Gerry approached Nathan.

Nathan shook his head, "No problem, you can go home! You're not a permanent employee here anyway. You didn't sign overtime, either, you wouldn't be paid if you stayed here."

Nathan nodded his head while smiling knots. "Yes, you go!"

Gerry nodded and went back to his desk to tidy up his things. After that, Gerry said goodbye to Nathan and left the room.

"He's an intern?" ask Jessica.

"That's how." Nathan nodded, "i was his tutor before. That's why he often asks me anything before he does anything."

Jessica nodded in understanding. He lowered his head, staring at his fingers. Jessica remembered her father. It had been half a day that her father had disappeared without any news at all.

Nathan saw Jessica who was currently sitting restlessly, he must be waiting for the latest news from the father. Nathan let out a sigh, he also did not know what to do at this time. He's been trying to track Robert down, but the man also turned off his tracking device.

Nathan looked at Jessica who suddenly got up from her seat. "Where are you going?"

"I want to go to the bathroom, just for a minute" Jessica replied, then continued her steps, walking slowly towards the bathroom to wash her face.

"He'll be fine, you know that," Nathan finally said, trying to tell Jessica when the girl came back after washing her face.

Jessica smiled bitterly while nodding her head slowly. To be honest, Jessica knew that right now she should be positive, but this was the first time she had witnessed her father's actions. And somehow he just felt not too sure whether he had to agree with Nathan's words or not. Inwardly, Jessica knew that Nathan must be just trying to cheer her up right now.

Jessica brushed her hair behind her ears with her fingers while putting on a frustrated look and seconds after Nathan suddenly heard a signal from Robert reappearing.

"Nathan did you hear?" robert from the speaker.

"That's my dad!" Jessica called out to Nathan.
